FQ Wide Bay has today announced the 2021 Wide Bay Referee Workshop, to be held on Saturday, 27 February and Sunday, 28 February in Childers.

The workshops will feature a mix of classroom and practical sessions covering topics including interactive learning techniques and the latest Laws of the Game.

FQ has reaffirmed its commitment to driving safeguarding children measures by announcing a ‘No Badge, No Bench, No Ref Room’ policy will be mandated across all state-wide competitions in 2021 ⚽

Providing increased visibility and reassurance for parents and participants around the state, all registered coaches in Queensland will be required to display an official identification pass with their blue card and Football Australia numbers.

Successful referee initiatives including the first year referee pack and teal shirt will continue beyond 2020, while a black Kappa kit will soon become available for all referees across the state.
