Playing Disc Bowls in the gusty wind was fun and Roger and Linda were our winners. Quite cool as well so everyone stayed warm around the fire which was a favourite place at Happy Hr. We all enjoyed a BYO communal dinner in the hall to end another fun day!

The third day of our rally started well with a three tiered Morning Tea followed by Finska which was won by Toni and Peter T. The wind came up and was very gusty which caused some havoc and awnings were made more secure. A lovely sausage sizzle lunch, thanks to Phil C for organising, was enjoyed by all. The usual cards were played after lunch with an icecream again offered to us all by the caretaker. Thanks to Wayne and Toni for the lovely potatoes cooked in alfoil on the coals and enjoyed with sour cream, cheese and fresh parsley for dinner. Quite a challenge with the windy conditions and winter gear was the chosen fashion to survive the cool air around the fire. 🔥

After a delicious Morning Tea of date loaf, chocolate cake and wafer biscuits we played one of our fun games, Co****le which was won by Roger and Clara. Our last caravan arrived and we went off to play bush rummy after lunch. The caretaker surprised us wth an offer of ice creams and drinks which we all enjoyed before heading off for Afternoon Tea and Happy Hr around the fire once again. A lovely warm day with a cool evening to end an enjoyable and sociable get together.

First day of our rally and we now have 7 vans/motorhomes here with one more arriving tomorrow. A lovely little town to spend a week near and everyone enjoying the fire at Happy Hr is quite special. First game of cards this afternoon while others were busy setting up. Weather is cool but pleasant. Fun and games begin tomorrow. ♣️♦️♥️♠️

Final day of our rally so everyone went exploring and enjoyed the lovely town of Blackbutt. The campfire was nice at Happy Hour after some delicious nibblies at afternoon tea. We have been blessed with good weather even if a bit chilly at night! We will all head home tomorrow! Fun rally everyone!
