🏆 Junior Jug

Our Wide Bay Junior Jug girls are having an amazing experience! There’s plenty of team spirit, lots being learnt through the camp, new friendships being made and, of course, plenty of fun along the way.

And they’re looking pretty fabulous in their team shirts too! 💙⛳️

⛳️ Katherine Kirk Classic – Day 2

Another fantastic day for Rebekah Mizzi, who is now sitting at an impressive 5-under Tied 1st after two rounds! 🔥 Keep up the great golfing, Rebekah.

Summer DaSilva had another tough day out on the course but showed plenty of determination, staying consistent with her Day 1 score.

We have joint leaders at the 2026 at Maroochy River Golf Club. Lily McGuiness (Yeppoon Golf Club) finished -3 (69) for the day to join day one leader Rebekah Mizzi (Hervey Bay Golf Club) at -5. McGuiness had a strong back nine holes to complete her round, including an eagle on the par 4 15th. The chasing group isn't far away, will someone go low to sn**ch it away from the leaders?

In the Junior Jug District Teams event, the Sunshine Coast Team extended their lead to 14. It's been a strong two first days for the Sunny Coast girls, who'll look to seal the win, and perhaps, hoist the Junior Jug Trophy tomorrow.

Rebekah Mizzi (Hervey Bay Golf Club) leads the after Round 1, shooting a bogey free -3 (69) at Maroochy River Golf Club.

In the Junior Jug District Teams event, the Sunshine Coast Team has started their week with an -11 under par score, eight clear of the next placed Wide Bay girls.

Round 2 continues tomorrow.

What a start from Rebekah Mizzi, firing an impressive 3-under bogey-free round to take the lead after Day 1! 🔥👏 Still plenty of golf to come over the next two days!

Summer DaSilva also played some great golf today, with two 9s proving costly in an otherwise solid opening round.

Our Wide Bay team of Brooke Ball, Sedona Renton & Summer DaSilva have also had a fantastic start, currently sitting in 2nd place at 3-under after the first day!
