π WATER SAFETY WEDNESDAY π
Kids donβt just remember the moments you watched them β they remember the moments you were truly present.
Around water, being engaged matters. Put the phone away, look up, join in, and make memories while keeping them safe.
π Eyes up
π± Phones down
π Be present
Your attention is their protection.

Meet the Team Monday (on Tuesday) π
Say hello to Allison β our Customer Service Leader, chocolate enthusiast, problem solver and one of the friendly faces keeping everything running smoothly at KICK! π
For the last 5 years, Allison has been helping families find the right solutions, answering the questions, solving the chaos and making sure customers feel looked after every step of the way.
What does Allison love most about the job? The conversations, getting to know people and helping make someoneβs day just that little bit easier π
Outside of KICK, youβll usually find her dreaming about Kβgari beach days, eating Italian food, or maintaining her very committed relationship with chocolate π«ποΈπ
Sheβs a proud dog person, loves The Wedding Singer, and if you need obscure 90βs movie trivia that nobody asked for but everyone somehow enjoysβ¦ Allisonβs your person π
If you see Allison around the centre this week, make sure you say hi! π

π WATER SAFETY WEDNESDAY π
Crocodile Rolls are more than just a swim skill β theyβre a life-saving skill.
Learning how to roll over to breathe while floating helps children stay calm, conserve energy and stay safer if they unexpectedly end up in deep water.
These foundation skills build confidence, independence and real water safety for life.

π This morning, Donna and Allison had a fantastic time at Yarrilee State Schoolβs Under 8βs Day! π
We loved being part of the fun with our fishing game π£, colouring activities π¨, and of courseβ¦ plenty of bubbles! π«§ππ§‘
It was wonderful meeting families, sharing smiles, and celebrating a fun morning with the little learners.
Thanks to Yarrilee State School for having us!

Meet the Team Monday π
Say hello to MARK KRATZMANN β our Swim Instructor, Aqua Instructor, professional flat white enthusiast β and one of the biggest personalities on the KICK team! π
For the last 2.5 years, Mark has brought energy, laughs, encouragement and a whole lot of heart to the pool deck. Loud? Absolutely. Child-at-heart? Without question. Approachable? Every single day.
What Mark loves most about the job? Progression. Seeing swimmers improve, build confidence and achieve their goals, and seeing the smiles when things finally click.
Outside of KICK, youβll usually find him watching sport, relaxing in the recliner, or talking football β½πΊ
Heβs especially passionate about our Baby Sharks program π¦and customers may be surprised to learnβ¦ heβs apparently much younger than he looks π
If you see Mark around the centre this week, make sure you say hi! π

πββοΈβ‘οΈποΈ Poolside to Beachside! ποΈβ‘οΈπββοΈ
A bunch of Fraser Coast Swim Club mums are swapping out feeding permanently hungry athletes, being unpaid taxi drivers, endless towels, goggles & forgotten water bottles, early mornings and poolside camp chairs
β¦for a slightly different challenge β 20km of walking, sand, sweat and questionable life choices! π
On July 17, Team No Turning Back will be taking on Coastrek, trekking from Marcoola to Mooloolaba to raise funds for Beyond Blue and support mental health across Australia π
One of the crew is our very own Allison from Kick Swim Centre, stepping away from the pool deck and into hiking mode!
Mental health impacts so many people in our community, and weβre proud to be supporting such an important cause.
If youβd like to support a bunch of slightly sleep-deprived swim mums doing hard things for a great reason, weβd love your support π

Every donation makes a difference π
No Turning Back are doing Coastrek!
We are hiking for mental health with Coastrek Sunshine Coast 2026 - 20KM and raising funds for Beyond Blue. Please support us and help ensure support is there when needed for those we love and for everyone in Australia.
