💦 A little reminder… water safety doesn’t take a break in winter, and neither should swimming lessons.
It’s easy to think about swimming when the weather warms up, but consistent lessons throughout winter help children build confidence, develop skills and retain everything they’ve worked so hard to achieve.
At Kick Swim Centre, our heated indoor pool means lessons continue in comfort all year round.
🌊 Enrolments are still open for Term 3!
If you’ve been thinking about getting started, there’s still time to join us.
📅 Term 3: Monday 13 July – Saturday 19 September 2026
📞 Call us on (07) 4218 4888 or send us a message to find the perfect class for your swimmer.
Because water safety is a skill for life.

While Allison is on annual leave… she’s definitely not taking it easy! 👣
This Friday, our Customer Service Team Leader is swapping the front desk for 20km of Sunshine Coast sand, walking from Marcoola to Mooloolaba as part of Coastrek to raise funds for Beyond Blue.
We know there’ll be plenty of sore muscles (and probably a few blisters!), but it’s all for a cause that’s close to so many Australians.
If you’d like to support Allison’s challenge—or her recovery! 😅—you can donate by scanning the QR code in the graphic or via the link below.

Good luck, Allison! The whole Kick Swim Centre team is cheering you on every step of the way. 💙

💙 WATER SAFETY WEDNESDAY 💙
Pool fences save lives.
They don’t replace supervision, but they provide a critical layer of protection between children and water.
A compliant fence, self-closing gate and self-latching latch can help prevent a moment of curiosity from becoming a tragedy.
Take a few moments today to check:
✔️ Gates close properly
✔️ Latches are working
✔️ Nothing can be climbed near the fence
✔️ The pool area is secure
Because the safest pool is one that children can’t access on their own.

There are six of us.
We are Fraser Coast Swim Club mums who met at Kick Swim Centre because our kids love swimming.
Most weekends, we’re the ones standing on pool decks, packing snack bags, cheering from the sidelines and making sure everyone else gets to the finish line.
This Friday, it’s our turn.
We’ll be swapping the pool deck for 20km of Sunshine Coast sand, walking from Marcoola to Mooloolaba to raise funds for Beyond Blue.
Twenty kilometres doesn’t sound too bad…
…until it’s all on sand.
Every step will remind us why we’re doing this.
Because mental health touches every family in some way. Whether it’s a friend, a colleague, a parent, a child or someone who’s quietly struggling, chances are you know someone who has needed support.
That’s why we’re walking.
Not because we think it’ll be easy.
But because if our sore feet can help someone take their first step towards getting help, it’ll be worth every blister.
If you’d like to support our team (or simply reward our questionable decision to voluntarily walk 20km on sand 😅), we’d be incredibly grateful.

Every dollar goes directly to Beyond Blue and helps more Australians access the mental health support they deserve.
Thank you for backing six swim mums taking one step at a time. 💙👣
