🏀 Times from 4:10pm, 5pm & 5.50pm 6.40pm – U12 Boys & U13 Girls

👟Please ensure you’re registered before taking the court.

We still have limited spots available in our U10 Mini Hurricanes program! This is a modified game program perfect for young players to learn the game, build confidence, make new friends and have fun in a supportive environment. 🏀 U10 players already participating in U12 competition are discouraged from playing in this program due to the lowered rings - we aim to keep this program entry level and fun, our coaches are happy to guide the best option for your child at the courts.

The wait is over! Our U19 Girls Premier League season gets underway this week, and we can’t wait to see these talented athletes hit the court representing their teams.

📲 Players, parents and supporters: Make sure you’ve downloaded the Basketball Connect app and check it regularly for your game times, court allocations and any fixture updates throughout the season.

💙🏀 A Huge Thank You to Our Amazing U14 Rep Girls! 🏀💙

A massive thank you to our incredible U14 Rep girls who generously gave up their weekend to volunteer at the PLAYGRND Showdown FIBA 3x3 Quest Pro Tour.

Our girls spent the weekend running the canteen, keeping players, officials and spectators fuelled throughout the event. They worked incredibly hard, always with a smile on their faces, and were fantastic ambassadors for Hervey Bay Basketball.

This is exactly what our representative program is all about. It’s more than just developing talented basketballers – it’s about building a community, creating lifelong friendships, giving back, showing respect, and embracing the spirit of teamwork and fun.

We couldn’t be prouder of the way these girls represented our association. Thank you for your hard work, your willingness to help, and for playing such an important role in making the weekend a success.

Well done girls – you should all be incredibly proud! 💙💛👏

🌪️🏀 WHAT. A. WEEKEND! 🏀🌪️

A massive shout out to our U12 Division 1 & Division 2 Hurricanes Boys who have been representing Hervey Bay at the Gladstone Representative Carnival this weekend!

After three huge days of basketball, these boys have left everything on the court. They’ve been smashing their games, taking on some quality opposition, playing with intensity, backing each other every step of the way and proudly wearing the Hurricanes jersey.

No matter the result, the effort, determination and teamwork they’ve shown all weekend has been outstanding, and everyone at HBBA is incredibly proud of the way they’ve represented our association. 💙🌪️

A huge thank you to our dedicated coaches, team managers, families and supporters who have made the trip and cheered the boys on all weekend. Your support means everything!

The Hervey Bay Basketball Association would like to wish Fletcher all the very best as he heads to Townsville this weekend to attend the Basketball Queensland Future Development Program (FDP) North Camp.

This is a fantastic achievement and a wonderful opportunity to continue developing alongside some of Queensland’s most promising young basketballers.

Following this weekend’s camp, Fletcher will join the South squad at the Basketball Queensland All States Camp in August, where players will have the opportunity to impress selectors in the hope of earning a place in the Queensland Southern Cross Challenge team, travelling to Melbourne in January 2027.

We’re incredibly proud to see Fletcher representing both our association and the Wide Bay region on the state pathway. Your dedication, hard work and commitment to improving your game have earned you this opportunity, and we can’t wait to see what you accomplish.

Best of luck this weekend, Fletcher! We know you’ll do Hervey Bay proud. ❤️🏀
