Can someone please tell me how many steps is walking 4.5 hours? This is just what I did yesterday walking to, around & back from the Cairns Botanic Gardens. When I’m traveling & away from my usual exercise routine, I try to make up for it with different exercises.
I’ve taken 5 days off to recharge from the busyness of running a clinic ( ) and starting a women’s health supplement business ( ). Trying to practice what I preach about living a healthy lifestyle and finding balance in what we do. It’s not about doing anything perfectly, but a balance in the different aspects of our lives.
We’re finding more and more about the benefits of exercise and a balanced lifestyle, ultimately to allow our bodies to heal, improve our mental health and to fight inflammation. When you’re well, you can achieve more and serve others more. How are you living your life?

Got this text last Sunday. It’s one of those times when I feel really happy that a patient cancelled her appointment. It means the work I did a few days prior to induce her using Acupuncture worked as planned and she didn’t need a second appointment to hurry the baby along! Super stoked for her and her hubby as I’ve supported them from the start of their fertility journey until the delivery of their beautiful baby boy! 🩷

Hello from Sydney! Started day 1 of a 3 day workshop learning from master Acupuncturist Sensei. It’s her last trip to Australia and I’m super excited & privileged to be learning from her directly!!
So many gems from her over 40 years of clinical experience! My head is so crammed full of info already and this is only day 1.
For my patients, look out for new exciting treatments to help you!
We’ve already had numerous live patient demonstrations with issues relating to , , , , , , , , , , , to name a few.
Look forward to learning more gems in the coming days! 🤩👌

Woke up this morning and couldn’t move my neck. So Ear Acupuncture (Auriculotherapy) and Scalp Acupuncture to the rescue. Slowly getting my range of motion back now.

Can you see the “antennas” sticking out of my head? They’re actually Acupuncture needles. Woke up yesterday morning with pain and restrictions at my upper back and couldn’t turn my head properly, must have done contortion moves in my sleep 😂 Finally got to do some self-treatment last night after my little one has gone to sleep. This style of Acupuncture is call Scalp Acupuncture where the midline of your head maps out your whole spine. That’s how I was able to treat my upper back without having to touch the area. Essentially, needling specific areas of the scalp sends signals directly to the brain which then sends signals directly to the corresponding areas in the spine to immediately start healing. Can’t afford to be in pain when you need to run after a little one.

This is what happens when you're an Acupuncturist and you've strained your neck but you couldn't easily needle your own neck. This style of acupuncture is call Auriculotherapy or Ear Acupuncture. This is where your ear maps out all your body parts. By needing the corresponding body part on the ear, you get an immediate effect to the area you want to treat - such as immediate pain relief. Pretty cool stuff eh!

Congrats to all my patients who completed the Tough Mudder challenge last Saturday! The "Electroshock Therapy" obstacle (or rather, being electrocuted at 10,000 volts!) was the most cringeworthy for me. But hey, you all survived! It certainly was muddy and your resultant bruises were spectacular! Here's one of many videos about the obstacle - enjoy!
