Wander Outdoors has officially taken home the Wholesale & Retail Industry Award at the 2026 Joondalup Business Awards.
And honestly, this one means a bloody lot.
Four years ago, Wander Outdoors started with a pretty simple idea. Back good Aussie and Kiwi businesses, stock gear that actually lasts, give people honest advice and build the kind of business I would want to shop at myself.
Since then, it has been one woman, a ridiculous amount of caffeine, plenty of learning things the hard way, some very long days and a community that has backed this little business harder than I ever could have imagined.
To have Wander Outdoors recognised amongst so many incredible Joondalup businesses is something I am incredibly proud of.
But this award is also a massive thank you to every person who has walked through my door, ordered online, stopped by at a show, shared a post, recommended Wander to a mate or simply kept coming back.
You are the reason I get to keep doing this.
Turns out stubbornly believing that good gear, proper service and supporting local still matter might actually be onto something. 😂
