Want more freedom?

Start owning more of yourself :fire:
Your reactions.
Your choices.
Your boundaries.
Your beliefs.
Your emotions.
Your healing.
Your next move.

Because self-ownership isn’t about blaming yourself for everything that’s happened to you.

It’s recognising that you are the person with the power to decide what happens from here.

And THAT is freedom.

When you stop needing someone else to change before you can feel okay…
When you stop waiting for someone to apologise before you can move forward…
When you stop handing your confidence, worth or happiness over to circumstances outside of you…

You take your power back.
Not because nothing affects you.
Of course it bloody does. You’re human. :joy:

But you start trusting yourself to deal with what comes.
Self-ownership isn’t a burden.
It’s one of the greatest forms of freedom you can give yourself.

Your life. Your emotions. Your choices.
You’re the boss. :heart_on_fire:

Knowing WHY you do something doesn’t mean s**t if you keep choosing the same thing.
Okay… maybe it means something

Awareness matters.
Understanding your patterns, beliefs, triggers and behaviours is incredibly powerful.
But there comes a point where you have to ask:

What am I actually DOING with what I now know?

You know you people please… are you practising saying no?
You know you catastrophise… are you challenging the story your mind creates?
You know you abandon yourself to keep other people happy… are you starting to choose yourself?
You know that belief is keeping you stuck… are you doing something differently enough to create evidence that it isn't true?

Because you can spend YEARS understanding yourself without actually changing your life.

At some point, healing requires action.
Growth requires action.
Self-leadership requires action.

Awareness shows you the pattern.
Ownership asks you to change it. :fire:

So… you know the thing.
Now what are you going to DO about it?

This is from my latest mini episode, You're the Boss. Start Acting Like It.

Just because you THINK it… doesn’t make it true.

Your brain is constantly creating a “map” of the world based on your past experiences, beliefs, fears, conditioning and the meaning you’ve attached to things along the way.

And sometimes that map is bloody outdated.
“I can’t do that.”
“I’m not confident enough.”
“People like me don’t succeed at that.”
“I always stuff things up.”
“This is just who I am.”

Are these FACTS?
Or are they perceptions you’ve repeated so many times they now FEEL like facts?

This is where self-leadership matters most.

You don’t have to be owned by every thought your brain serves up.
You CAN question it.
Challenge it.
Create a different meaning.
Choose a different response.

Because the map is not the territory.

Your perception of yourself, someone else or a situation is not necessarily the truth — it’s simply the version your mind has created from the information it has.

And when you change the map?
You give yourself the opportunity to experience something completely different. :fire:
This is what can happen when you remember - youre the boss!

At some point, you have to decide to be the boss of your own life.

That doesn’t mean you control what happens to you.
It means you take ownership of what you do next.

Someone pi**ed you off?
Okay. What are you going to do about it?

You’ve realised you’ve been people pleasing for years?
Okay. What are you going to do differently?

You know your thoughts are keeping you stuck?
Great awareness… now what?

THIS is self-leadership.

It’s not pretending you don’t have emotions, triggers, fears or s**tty days.
It’s being able to feel them, acknowledge them and understand them…
without handing them the bloody steering wheel.

Your past might explain some of your patterns.
Other people's behaviour might affect you.
Your emotions might be screaming at you.

But ultimately, you still get to decide who you are, how you respond and what happens next.
That’s ownership.

And the more you practise it, the more you start trusting yourself to handle life instead of needing life to behave itself before you can be okay.

You are the boss.
Start acting like it. :fire:

You wouldn't go to the gym once and expect to stay fit forever.

So why do we expect a single program to carry our mental and emotional health for life?

Consistent training is what creates lasting results. In the gym and in life.

The Thrive+ Inner Circle is your ongoing mental and emotional gym membership — where you keep building the capacity, resilience, and self-leadership to handle whatever life throws at you.

Not all tiredness comes from doing too much.

Sometimes it comes from carrying too much.

The grief you never processed.
The anger you swallowed.
The guilt you've been dragging around for years.
The heartbreak you learnt to live with.
The pressure of pretending you're "fine."

That takes energy.

We're so quick to chase more sleep, another coffee, better supplements or the next productivity hack...
But what if the thing draining you isn't on your to-do list?

What if it's everything your mind and body have been carrying that was never given permission to be felt?

Your body is constantly spending energy holding onto what your nervous system hasn't been able to process.

Maybe you're not low on energy.

Maybe you're overloaded.

This snippet is from my latest podcast episode where we unpack why so many of us are looking for more energy in all the wrong places.

The moment you put someone on a pedestal...
..you unconsciously step off your own.

Admire people.
Learn from them.
Be inspired by them.
But don't ever convince yourself they have something you don't.
Because they don't.
The confidence you see?
The courage.
The success.
The impact.
They're not things they were born with. They're qualities they chose to build.
And so can you.
The people who inspire you aren't proof that you're behind.
They're proof of what's possible.
The only time admiration becomes dangerous is when it turns into comparison.
When you start believing they're more capable...
More deserving...
Or somehow "special."
They're human.
Just like you.
Stop looking up at people and start looking within yourself.
Everything you're admiring in someone else is showing you a part of you that's ready to be developed.

🎇Let people inspire your growth, not diminish your worth.

👇🏼Tell me... who's someone you admire, and what's one quality in them you're ready to cultivate in yourself?

Your patterns aren't your personality. They're a blueprint — built at a specific age, with what you had at the time.

And blueprints can be redrawn.

Save this if it lands and follow for more on the actual root cause work.

One of the hardest parts about feeling disconnected from yourself… is that most people around you don’t even realise it’s happening.

Because you’re still functioning.

And honestly? I know this feeling deeply myself.

I’ve had seasons where from the outside my life looked “fine.”

I was still showing up.
Still working.
Still parenting.
Still getting things done.

But internally?

I felt disconnected from myself.

Disconnected from joy.
Disconnected from presence.
Disconnected from the things that used to make me feel alive.

And the scary part is… it didn’t happen overnight.

It happened slowly.

Through prolonged stress.
Constant pressure.
Overstimulation.
Always being “on.”
Always coping.
Always pushing through.

Until one day you realise:
You’re living your life… but not actually FEELING your life anymore.

And I think this is where so many women are sitting right now.

Not falling apart.

Just quietly depleted.

Numb.
Flat.
Emotionally exhausted.
Running on responsibility instead of genuine energy.

What helped me wasn’t becoming more productive.

It was reconnecting.

Reconnecting to myself.
To nature.
To slowing down.
To movement that brought me back into my body.
To the things that made me feel safe, grounded and human again.

Because sometimes your nervous system isn’t asking you to “push harder.”

Sometimes it’s asking you to come back to yourself.

This clip is from my latest Thrive In Life Podcast episode and honestly… I think a lot of women are going to feel seen by this one.
