Whether it’s taking part in a water sport, attending Club’s social activities or just enjoying premier ocean views from the Club’s veranda or the back of your boat, Hillarys Yacht Club is your perfect home-away-from-home! Hillarys Yacht Club offers the best of the best when it comes to activities on and off the water for you and your family and a range of membership options are available to suit everyone. Since forming in 1986 the Club has always prided itself on and has maintained its relaxed and informal atmosphere, whether its taking part in a water sport, attending any of the Club's social activities or just enjoying the ocean views from the Club's verandah or the back of your boat. Hillarys Yacht Club function rooms are also available to hire for members and the general public. Located on the northern side of Hillarys Marina, Hillarys Yacht Club is only 15 minutes from the C*D and 10 minutes from the City of Joondalup. The calm waters of the Indian Ocean provide great views and an ideal setting for your coming event and in addition, the Club provides secure on-site parking, versatile rooms and flexibility to make your next event a success.

The inaugural Hillarys Ocean Dinghy Regatta is fast approaching, and sailing instructions are now available on the Hillarys Yacht Club website!

Get ready for an exciting day of ocean dinghy racing off Hillarys Marina and Perth’s northern beaches, open to all centreboard classes including ILCA, Optimist, Finn, Mirror, Sabre, Minnow and Open Skiff! PLUS – the inaugural Interclub RS Quest Cup!

All other dinghy classes are also invited to join! A minimum of five entrants is required to form a class fleet, with classes of fewer than five welcome to compete in mixed fleet racing.

⛵ Ocean Series Race 1 – Marmion Reef Race ! 🌊

Sunday 18 October saw Hillarys Yacht Club's Keelboat fleet take on the Marmion Reef Race, kicking off the Ocean Series with some challenging conditions!

A total of 15 boats started the race, with 14 successfully completing the course. Racing began with 12-knot westerly winds and 1-metre waves, before conditions intensified to gusts of 23–25 knots and waves reaching approximately 2.5 metres!
