Today is our Swordy 1km Swim and we want to wish all the swimmers, who are warming up as we speak, a massive good luck.

💙 What is our Swordy 1km Swim Day all about? 💙

At Paul Sadler Swimland, we believe every child deserves to feel safe and confident in the water. That’s why we run our Swordy 1km Swim Day every term – a special event where swimmers who have qualified by swimming 500m in 15 minutes and 30 seconds are invited to take on the ultimate challenge: their 1km swim 🏊‍♂️✨

This milestone is more than just a distance – it’s about building safer swimmers. Completing 1km in the pool equates to roughly 100m in open water, giving kids vital skills for real-life water safety. Once completed, kids will then be invited to our next milestone moment, the Open Water Experience.

It’s a massive proud moment, and every child who achieves it is awarded their Swordy 1km Medal 🥇💙

We are so proud of our swimmers who have reached this incredible goal and can't wait to see more proud moments at our upcoming Swordy 1km Swim day on Sunday 30th of August! 🙌
