As part of the move, we're taking advantage of modern technology to solve all those little storage problems by designing and 3D printing custom solutions. In this case, our mops and brooms finally have a tidier place to live instead of leaning in a random corner.

After more than 15 years on Murray Street, AWF is on the move (specifically 158 metres to the south west). The monitors are unplugged, the desks stacked high, and a few cables will inevitably go missing, but the pixels will keep hustling. If you're around drop by at the new digs, 41 Victoria Street (although give us a few weeks to make the new place feel like home).

For all the chaos that’s happening, it’s great to be able to celebrate the creative and technical achievements of our craft, and even nicer to get a gong for it 😜

Who is the team behind AWF?

Meet our clever coder, Lucas.

Joining the team fresh out of college, Lucas first dipped his toes into SFX animation before discovering his true natural habitat: deep in the trenches of code, wrangling strings and expressions with the calm precision of someone born to do it.

Unofficially, Lucas is AWF’s resident culinary sage. With an unwavering love for food, especially from the islands ofJapan, he’s known to recount his weekend eats with the enthusiasm of a seasoned food critic. If you know what Lucas had for dinner on Saturday, congratulations: you’re officially part of the AWF family. His encyclopedic knowledge of Japan means there's always a new tip, fact, or must-visit spot ready to spill out at a moment’s notice. Outside the code cave, Lucas is a genuinely good lad who enjoys gaming, hunting down new restaurants, and stepping beyond his comfort zone one small adventure at a time.
