As I step away from my self-assigned role as head writer for the Hobart Masters FB page, I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s followed, commented, liked, and supported us over the past few years. I hope it’s brought you some laughs and entertainment along the way.

It’s been an amazing ride, and I’m incredibly proud of everything we’ve built together as a team. We’ve grown so much, and I’ve made unforgettable memories while having the privilege and honor of meeting and playing with some truly amazing people.

Looking ahead to 2025, make sure to stick behind the lads—they’re set to be a force to be reckoned with. The best is yet to come!

As the year comes to a close and Christmas draws near, it’s a great time to reflect on those doing it tough.

Every day in Australia, over half a million households struggle to put food on the table. This year, the Hobart Masters have stepped up to make a difference, supporting the Reverse Advent Calendar initiative to fill hampers for families in need this Christmas.

A big shout-out to Steph H for leading the charge and to the Salvos for helping to distribute 50 hampers, generously packed by kind-hearted people.

A huge congratulations to our incredible Legends of the Hobart Football Club Womens Masters team! 🎉👟 Pictured with Coach Trey, they succesfully completed the Point to Pub 10k run this morning and we couldn’t be prouder! 💪🏅 Well done, team! 🙌

🏅 Huge congratulations to our legends and their families who took on the Burnie 10 today! We saw some incredible performances, with Masters Legend Nathurn Seaburn’s son Jacob clocking an impressive 52:42, and DeClown’s son James powering through at 49:09.

Big shoutout to our “Legend of the Ladies,” Annie Smalley, who kept us motivated as a race pace runner, cheering us on and helping us push through to the finish line........well, just me really :) Thank you, Annie, for the endless encouragement!
