"Elfunks is an award-winning advanced pole artist based in Hobart, with six years of experience in the sport.
She is known for her dynamic stage presence and her humorous, character-driven approach to performance.
As a dedicated member of the Diamond Class Pole and Fitness community, Elfunks has consistently pushed the boundaries of creative storytelling on the pole. 💚💜 About Double or Nothing — Jasman & Danielle! ✨

With over 5 years of pole experience and a passion for teaching as pole instructors, Jasman and Danielle joined forces as doubles act in 2023. They quickly made their mark, with Double or Nothing taking out First Place in the Doubles Division at last year’s PDT Pole Dane Tasmania Championships!

This year, they’re swapping the stage for the judging panel. With their experience as competitors, performers and instructors, they’re keen to bring their expertise to this year’s competition.
We’re excited to have Jasman and Danielle on board and look forward to seeing their passion for pole shine from the other side of the stage.

Sparky first stepped into a pole class back in 2021, simply to support a friend… and never left. What began as a gesture of solidarity turned into a shared passion, years of training, and a deep love for the pole community.
Today, Sparky brings that same heart, dedication, and joy to the judging panel. With lived experience as both a student and performer, Sparky understands the courage, creativity, and grit it takes to get on stage. About Cinara (Sally) 💚💜
Sally started pole dancing in 2010 and it was love at first spin. She's worked as a pole instructor for almost a decade and loves to share her passion with her students. She's competed under her stage name, Cinara, in six national competitions and countless state competitions.

What she loves most in a pole routine is creativity, whether it be in the form of unique transitions, interesting themes and concepts or a strong connection between music and movement.

PDT's mission is to bridge the much needed gap and encourage more Tasmanian ‘up and coming pole performers’.

This pole competition provides an entry level platform, a pre-professional (or amateur level) state competition not previously available in Tasmania + a competition that encourages all styles of pole expression and style.

A non-intimidating, friendly, inclusive competition that aims to support and encourage all who are interested in performing pole,to dip their toes in and build their pole competing skills and confidence gradually before contemplating and/or competing in professional competitions
PDT offers a chance to give pole performance and competing a go, whether their goal is to eventually become a professional pole competitor down the track, or to just get up and have fun performing for an audience the style of their choice.

‘PDT Championships gives Tassie polers the opportunity to perform alongside and compete with polers outside of their own studio, building Tassie poler camaraderie and pole pride for the state.

PDT is an evolved revamp of the ‘Tasmanian Pole Championships’ Est. 2013 by Tasmanian industry pioneer ‘Bec Collins aka Bebe Sparkle’
Bec is a Tassie renowned entertainer, pole dance,burlesque, aerial artist, producer, instructor + Owner of Hobart’s first and longest running professional pole studio - 'Diamond Class Pole and Fitness Studio' Est. 2007.
Bec/Bebe has produced over 25 + pole dance competitions to date in Tas, including the professional Tasmanian state heats for national 'MPD Australia' for 5 years 2011 - 2016, giving the stepping stone opportunity to Hobart's original or 'old school' polers, some of who are now competing in professional level comps.
PDT is her way of offering the opportunities to new and up coming Tassie polers again and we are excited to see what the new generation of pole performers bring to the PDT stage this year!

I was introduced to pole dance for the first time 12 years ago and immediately got hooked. I have been poling on and off ever since then, and competed for the first time two years ago at PDT. Creating solo routines has now become a great creative outlet which allows me to transform and impersonate quirky characters. I love trying different styles and finding inspiration in my other passions to create routines. My latest obsession is K-Pop and I love bringing this genre’s playful energy and theatricality to the pole!
