Grand Final Result 🐝

The boys got to Northbridge ready for the main event. They warmed up well and had a huge reception from the travelling support.

The game started and it was frantic from the first whistle. The game was open and end to end, with Northbridge being 1-0 up at the break.

The second half starts with the hornets piling on pressure. The game was open, free flowing and was a joy to watch. Hornsby Heights worked until the end but came out as runners up. Full time 3-0.

The Hornsby Heights Men’s All Age Premier League squad would like to thank everyone who came to support the boys this year! It was amazing to see so many people out at Northbridge cheering them on. Enjoy the off season and we can’t wait to see you all again next year! 🐝

Here it is, the big one! Hornsby Heights are in the grand final and are raring to go! ⚽️

After a full on Semi Final the boys travel away to Northbridge to play against the champions of the regular season 🔥

Hornsby Heights Men’s Premier League First Grade will be playing at 3:15pm this Saturday afternoon at Northbridge Oval. The bus is booked so make sure to get to Northbridge Oval to support the Hornets! 🐝

Semi Final Result 🐝

WHAT A GAME! The hornets first grade squad travelled to Charles Bean as the rain cleared away for the main event! 🔥

The hornets played well from the start, being unfortunate to concede first. But after that, the boys put in goal after goal, spectacular finishes at that, to go into half time 3-1 up! ⚽️

The second half starts and Lindfield built some momentum, scoring 2 goals to tie it up. But knowing Hornsby Heights, the game was far from done! Smart and quick plays saw the hornets score 2 beautifully worked goals, to finish off the game 5-3 winners! (L.Fredrick 1, Lee 2, Hing 1, Fisher 1 ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️)

The boys will now play in the GRAND FINAL against Northbridge! Be there to see the hornets make HISTORY! 🐝

After an intense home and away season, first grade finished 3rd, cementing their spot in the semi final! ⚽️

Finishing 3rd means Heights will be playing against Lindfield who finished 2nd. This will be a match not to be missed!

Hornsby Heights Men’s Premier League First Grade will be playing at 2:15pm this Saturday afternoon at Charles Bean Oval. Be there to support the boys in their finals campaign! 🐝

Round 18 - Results 🐝

RG: Ressies looked to start the day well in an intense game against Knox. Knox were able to break the deadlock in a tense first half. Into the second half, the boys were fighting to get a result but Knox were able to put the game to bed. Full time 3-0.

Firsts: First grade were put on the back foot straight away as Knox scored in the first minute. After the boys settled into the game, they were able to create more and more chances in a tense game. After the break, the game was end to end, with the hornets making it 1-1 with 10 minutes to go. In stoppage time, heights were able to get 1 more goal that put the game to bed. Full time 2-1. (H.Fredrick 1, R.Brooks 1 ⚽️⚽️)

Congratulations to ressies on completing their season. Focus now moves to first grades semi final against Lindfield this Saturday! 🐝
