Last night saw our Try Rugby littlies wrap up their 2026 season with their presentation night down at Boronia, complete with the classic sausage sizzle and a special little presentation for the youngest members of our Hillies family. 🥹🖤🤍

To our Try Rugby kids, you are the future of rugby! 🏉 We couldn’t be prouder of you and the way you’ve embraced your introduction to rugby at Hunters Hill this season.

A very special thank you to Dean and Maz, who have given up their Tuesday nights all season to encourage, teach and show these little Hillies what rugby is all about. Your time, patience and enthusiasm have made their first experience of rugby such a positive one. A big thank you also to Aggie and Luca for all your help and support throughout the season. 🙏🏼

And of course, thank you to all our Try Rugby parents for bringing the kids down every Tuesday, getting involved and supporting them. It really has been such a great little group.

We hope to see all those familiar faces back at Boronia next year, ready to do it all again in 2027! 🖤🤍🏉

🏉 SEMI-FINALS, HERE WE COME! 🖤🤍

Tomorrow is a big day for our Hillies, with SIX teams taking the field in the SJRU Semi-Finals! 👏🏼

A huge congratulations to all our players, coaches, managers and families. What a season, and what a perfect weekend for some great finals rugby! ☀️🏉

THE BUSINESS END OF THE SEASON 🏉

What a weekend for our Hillies as we edge closer to the end of another massive season!

Friday night saw our Minis take the field for their second-last round, while Sunday marked the final regular round of the season for our Juniors.

There were tough matches, big wins, heartbreaking losses and plenty on the line. Some teams were fighting for that all-important spot in the semi-finals, while others had already secured their place — but one thing was the same across the board… our Hillies played their hearts out and wore that black & white with pride. 🖤🤍

Friday was also extra special for Rafaiella, playing her final game with the teammates she’s been alongside since U6s. As she ages out of mixed rugby after U12s, it’s the end of an era.

And now… FINALS FOOTY! 🔥

This weekend, SIX Hillies teams will take the field in the semi-finals, while our Minis head into their final round of the season.

A huge thank you to our opposing clubs, referees, First Aid, volunteers, coaches, managers, canteen crew and parents who helped make the weekend happen. Your time, support and commitment are what make our club so special.

🏆 THE DUFFICY CUP IS BACK! 🏆

Next Friday night, Boronia Park comes alive for one of the biggest events on the Hillies calendar, the annual Dufficy Cup Carnival. 🖤🤍🏉

Since 2007, the Dufficy Cup has become a proud Hunters Hill tradition, giving our U9s the chance to step up and experience the U10 competition format ahead of next season.

And 2026 brings something extra special. For the first time, we’re introducing the Latham Shield and Kellaway Bowl, honouring Hillies legends whose names and families have been woven into Hunters Hill Rugby history for just as long as Dufficy. 🏆

This year, 12 teams will battle it out across the Dufficy Cup, Latham Shield & Kellaway Bowl.

We look forward to welcoming all the opposing teams to Boronia Park and having them be part of this very special annual event and its proud history.

SECOND LAST ROUND 🖤🤍

Another big weekend of rugby and Hillies spirit as we ticked off the second last round of the season!

Friday night saw our Minis under lights at Boronia for the final time in 2026. 🔥 The fire pit was roaring, with Aunty Bec sharing stories of the history of Hunters Hill Rugby and some of the special moments that have happened right there at Boronia Park.

Hundreds of kids were running around in the crisp winter air, enjoying the sausage sizzle, plenty of lollies and everything we love about Friday nights at Boronia. 🖤🤍

Saturday, our ball kids were out supporting the Seniors at Sponsor & Life Member Day, rocking their brand-new Ball Kid jerseys. And seriously… how smart do they look?! 😍🖤🤍

Sunday brought a strong round for our Juniors, with some great Hillies wins and a couple of teams pipped at the post by just one or two points. Our 15s and Opens enjoyed a bye, resting those teenage muscles ahead of the final round!

And just like that… semifinals are only a hop, skip and a jump away! 👀🏉
