🏹 A big thank you to Colin Stones !

On behalf of myself and everyone at Gosnells Archers, I’d like to thank Colin for the tireless work he puts in behind the scenes.

Many of us turn up and shoot without realising how much work goes into keeping our targets ready to use. Colin has been busy repairing broken targets and adding bracing to help prevent further damage, making sure we all have targets to shoot at.

Colin, your hard work and dedication around the club do not go unnoticed. We appreciate the time and effort you give to keep things running for everyone.

Thank you from all of us! 👏💚

🥈 CONGRATULATIONS XAVIER CLARK! 🇦🇺🏹

A massive congratulations to WA archer Xavier Clark on an incredible performance at the 2026 World Archery Field Championships in Yankton, USA!

Xavier has had a fantastic Championships, representing Australia and Western Australia on the world stage and coming home with TWO international medals! 🇦🇺

🥈 SILVER – U21 Men’s Team
🥉 BRONZE – U21 Barebow Mixed Team

What an outstanding achievement at a World Championships!

The conditions in Yankton certainly weren’t easy, with rain, mud and shortened courses, but Xavier and the Australian team continued to battle through and produce some brilliant results.

For a young WA archer to stand on the podium at a World Archery Championship is something incredibly special.

Xavier, you have made us all so proud back here in WA! 💚💛

Congratulations on an amazing Championships, two very well-earned medals, and for representing Australia and WA so brilliantly.

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SILVER & BRONZE MEDALLIST! 🥈🥉

🇦🇺🏹 Well done, Xavier! WA is proud of you! 🏹🇦🇺

🏹 WHAT AN AMAZING MORNING! ❤️

Today we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming 11 participants and their support workers from WADSA Disabled Sports Association to Gosnells Archers for a Come N Try session.

What a fantastic morning it was! There were plenty of smiles, lots of arrows flying, new skills being learnt and, most importantly, everyone having a go and enjoying themselves. 🎯

Days like today are such a great reminder that archery really is an ALL ABILITIES sport. It can be adapted, supported and enjoyed by so many people, and seeing everyone out on the range giving it a go was pretty special. 💙

A huge THANK YOU to WA Disabled Sports Association Inc for reaching out to us and giving us the opportunity to host your group. We absolutely loved having you and hope everyone walked away with some great memories — and maybe even a new love for archery! 🏹

I also couldn’t have made today happen without some wonderful people from our own club. A massive thank you to Pete, Alan and Caroline for giving up their time and helping me throughout the morning. Your support, patience and willingness to jump in wherever needed made the session possible, and I really appreciate you! ❤️

Different abilities. Same opportunity. Same passion.
Because at Gosnells Archers, everyone deserves the chance to have a go. 🎯🏹
