Ingle Farm squash junior program will not resume this week.
We are working hard to build on what was achieved in 2020 developing a community based , inclusive junior program with juniors from multiple origins . We are hoping to expand in every sense and lift the standard along with the numbers of players playing squash in a team environment.
Zoe and I are excited about the future and are working hard behind the scenes in multiple ways to develop things in a truly developmental way. We acknowledge the increased interest in our program
We will be in contact later in the week regarding specific plans but welcome you contacting us direct if needed.

Ingle Farm Squash Club
Ingle Farm squash is an established and yet continually developing squash centre for players of all ages and levels
Ingle Farm Squash Club is located within Ingle Farm Recreation Centre in the City Of Salisbury. The Ingle Farm Squash Club provides programs for all. Pennant Competition:
Play for the Ingle Farm Squash Club in the Squash SA run Adelaide pennant competition. Starts every February and August and runs for 17 weeks. These sessions are for players of all standards – come along and receive some coachin
Ingle Farm squash is back.
Due to the easing of government restrictions juniors have returned operating in our normal 4pm-6pm time slot every weekday. You are all welcome to return .
For parents , those doing casual bookings through the rec centre and Saturday morning practice ( 9-11.30) it is suggested you adopt the Q scan log in process for contract tracing in advance prior to attending. This will enable you as you enter the venue to scan your phone 🤳across the barcode for quick entry rather than go through the process at entry. This is a government requirement we must adhere to and necessary. Go to my SA GOV and follow the prompts . You will need photo ID as you register. For the children attending after being dropped off or straight from school we will continue to record your attendance manually. Ingle Farm squash continues to operate under its Covid plan ( displayed ) and we thank Imperial Measures Distilling Thebarton for their quality sanitiser and compliment them on their community efforts generally.
From a coaching perspective it’s heartening to see the attitude and keenness of the players. That directly impacts the performance and it shows. Zoe and I are excited by what the juniors of all ages are starting to achieve.
We will be making announcements about upcoming events soon that will rock your sox. For now get back on court and let’s continue the momentum

Normally when we update at Ingle Farm squash the news is all good . Certainly there’s lots of good stuff to report on but as many if you would be aware , due to an outbreak of 17 cases in SA, the state government has closed down all gyms and Rec centres within the state from midnight last night.
As Ingle Farm squash operates within a Rec centre, that means we are closed ( based on the current decision) till 30/11. Within IF squash we have consistently been operating Covid safe and we have and will continue to meet and support all requirements . We have had no cases at all throughout. We thank Imperial Measures Distilling in Thebarton for their support with very effective sanitiser .
Our juniors have been consistently growing . Each week we have new additions and the culture and attitude of juniors has across the board been infectious . Zoe has been instrumental in building the base of players with her holistic approach and you are speaking with your feet.
I’d like to make special mention to our Saturday morning crew. You too have helped with the juniors and many have improved their own game.
With 1 case this morning we are optimistic that this is a temporary halt to proceedings and we will be back for all of December and beyond . Watch this space .
Some of you have indicated you will be doing off court work and have asked for guidance . Do not hesitate to contact Zoe or myself on any issue .
We are planning , clinics , camps and tournaments over December and into January and we will introduce some unique events. The base is being built for an exciting 2021.

Ingle Farms junior squash program resumes Monday 12th and runs for the term.
Sessions run weekdays 4pm-6pm for juniors of all levels. Players can come for the duration of a session or part thereof.
Cost for the term is $100 with a $50 fee for any additional child. Sports vouchers are available.
We operate a pro shop with discounted rackets , eyewear , shoes, shirts and other accessories as well special start up packages for newbies that are popular. We are a not for profit organisation so purchases through us go back into helping the juniors and re-funding the children. In that regard we appreciate all your help. It makes a difference.
Players can come 1-2 days a week. We ask you communicate with us once you have chosen your primary day.
It matters not to the coaches whether your child is starting in the program or wanting to develop to national junior level or beyond , the program encompasses both.
Motor skills , movement , balance , co-ordination, skill development are all taught and players a given a base that helps them grow both in the sport and compliments the other sports they may play.
Positive culture , equality , attitude, teamwork and the support and encouragement of others are all non negotiables in our program.
It’s been a busy term and a busy “ break” with many of you wanting to train with clinics, individual work and events.
We’d like to thank all of you who have supported us through the pandemic. As parents you all have lots on your plate and we appreciate you allowing us to work with your children.
It seems important to acknowledge Zoe for her efforts .She has been tireless through this period. The UKs loss is our gain and whether she is developing confidence in a beginner or teaching those with elite aspirations she is in her element. Some of the parents are now seeking her advice wanting to play. We are seeing improvements all around and your feedback about her has been overwhelming.
We look forward to the start of 4th term and your involvement.
Please text or email any queries you have. Both Zoe and I are on court most days and can chat after 5pm. We would welcome discussing your individual situation.
Thanks

Squash is an awesome game and many of you are showing you are having fun playing it .
On the back of the Ingle Mingle squash tournament , we ran two squash clinics last week . Players have followed up with their own social hits , individual lessons and other newbies are getting involved . In addition Zoe and I worked for 5 hours straight on our day off with just short of 100 children new to squash . It’s been anything but a quiet holiday.
As a result of the requests we have had , we will be running a one off come one come all Thursdays Your Day .
From 12 noon Thursday 8th at Ingle Farm for as long as you want to play you can play . Cost is $20 per head with a $5 discount per child ( $40 for 3).
Whether you are advanced and wanting to train well or wanting to make steps and get to a higher level you will be challenged.
If you are new to the game parents can meet coaches , players can quickly learn if this is for them . Bring a friend .
Games , match play , training will be coordinated by Zoe and I for a minimum of 2 hours ( we expect it to go longer ) . We will give extra time to those that are wanting to push themselves .
Players who fancy themselves can take on the coaches.
Please text the name and age of your child to book on 0401848243. Call if necessary .
Payment can be made online
For regulars you know the details for others pls contact us.

It’s been an action packed few days at Ingle Farm squash and a report seems appropriate.
We ran our small internal tournament on Friday with little fuss. There were players who were well versed at local tournament level , some putting the toe in the water in their first tournament ever and others building their experiences.
Competing and learning how to do that ,self management on and off court , taking responsibility are all a part of our teaching at our club . If players are to truly develop , the role parents play here is integral to that development happening . We tend to value achievements a little differently to some others but it’s no coincidence that those developing the most feel free to take ownership the earliest. We encourage that at Ingle Farm
The half way mark of the tournament meant game play with a difference followed by a final few matches . Fun was had by all . We were overwhelmed by the positive feedback.
All in all a fun night , congratulations to all involved.
Saturday practice followed into Sunday practice for some and then our junior clinic Monday . Non stop action for 2 hours wasn’t enough for some with a few parents sending lovely messages . Some very young players responded to teaching movement , drops and backhand work very quickly . To the older players don’t look over your shoulder too much.
Zoe was tireless in her efforts . No wonder England squash want her back .
On Wednesday we have our 12-19yo clinic . It’s a full day clinic . Numbers are limited . We love including people but please contact us today should you want to be involved. The flyer is provided .
Like many clinics camps both Zoe and I have been. Involved with it’s 2 2 hour sessions with lunch in between . The day is meticulously planned and is action packed. Players are worked individually and in groups . Bring a keenness to learn . All levels are welcome though numbers are limited.
Bookings are essential . On each of our days we have had walk ins and we will always do our best to accomodate but contact with either Zoe or me the day before is essential .
Should you have any enquires please contact by text or call
We look forward to making a difference
