Congratulations to The Blazers for their nail biting win over Strikers in the Grand Final of the B Grade Div 3 competition. The match went into extra time with both teams fighting all the way in the end only one point separating them. At the end of regular time the scores were level on 34 all. Extra time of 3 minutes gave the Blazers just enough time to edge one point clear eventually winning 38-37. Both teams were full of youth and agility but it might have been the experience of Shane Clifford that got The Blazers home in the end. It was great to see these new teams full of fresh faces joining our competition for the first time doing so well!!! Congratulations again!!!

Congratulations to Scrambled Legs on winning the B Grade Div 2 title for the Winter 2026 Volleyball comp over Amped Up. Another close game 32-28 with both teams looking like it was their night until Scrambled Legs led by their captain Miranda Morgan, who was also player of the match, edged 4 points clear at the end. Congratulations again to both teams on an enjoyable season!!!

Congratulations to Soft Serves winning the B Grade Div 1 competition for Winter Volleyball 2026 against The Rough Set!! Soft Serves got out to an early lead and throughout the game The Rough Set led by Kiarah looked poised to stage a comeback but the strong serving of Emily, Kieran and Lylah kept Soft Serves just head eventually running out winners 41-29. Again the game had some highlight rallies with great skill and commitment shown from both teams along with great sportsmanship!!!

Congratulations to Safe Sets on taking out the A Grade Div 2 title for Volleyball Winter 2026 comp with a close win over a T&S Automotive 36-33. The game went down to the wire with T&S throwing all they could in the final set to try and get ahead. Taylor Fleming once again tried every shot in the book to try and get his team over the line!! In the end Safe Sets held their nerve and won. Congratulations to both teams on their season and the sportsmanship throughout the year!!!

Congratulations to our A Grade Div 1 Volleyball winners WOD Balls. After a shaky start against a strong Pocket Aces team WOD Balls really got into their groove with some fantastic rallies it was a high quality game from both teams. In the end WOD Balls we’re just on their game and they won 37-15, congratulations to Kaitlyn and her team on a successful Winter 2026 season!!!

Another fantastic night of Volleyball last night and great way to conclude our Winter 2026 competition. Thank you to all the teams, captains, umpires and support staff that helped make this such a successful competition!! We had 22 teams across A and B grade with many new teams and faces joining our established teams which was great to see!!!
