: Here's a look at the current state of play in the 2025 Nankang Tyres Australia PMP Excel Series, ahead of the biggest round of the year.

With three rounds to go, and more than 700 championship points still on offer, there's still plenty to play for in 2025, but given how tight things are at the top of the table, the top four can't afford to put a foot wrong.

Three of the top four are also vying for the 'Junior of the Year' title, while an impressive run at Morgan Park Raceway last time out, sees Fraser Sturgess in a dead heat with Brooke Wilson, for the 'Rookie of the Year' crown.

Cars hit the 3.126km Queensland Raceway National Circuit for SEVEN unofficial practice sessions tomorrow, before the official business of the weekend commences, with Qualifying, on Saturday morning.

You can watch the entire weekend of action, across TWO MASSIVE DAYS, on the West Bremer Radio YouTube channel, from 9:15am AEST on Saturday.

The QLD PMP Excel Series is proudly sponsored by: Nankang Motorsport, Castrol Australia, MPI - Max Papis Innovations, K&N Australia, SP Tools and WinmaX Brakes.

: As we continue the countdown to this weekend's Festival of Motorsport at Queensland Raceway, let's remind you of how the PMP Excel Series Enduro weekend played out just under a year ago.

After the 2023 race was run over 300km, the 2024 edition came with one of the more significant changes, to the race format, that the event had ever seen.

For the first time, the endurance portion of the weekend was split into TWO races, as race goers still witnessed 300km of Hyundai Excel magic, just in separate 150km servings, with an intermission in the middle.

The winner of the second of those 150km races was declared the winner of the event, meaning that local star Ryan Casha Racing, and his good mate Connor Roberts were crowned the victors, ahead of the SIX80 Racing pairing of George and Jack Wood, while the main man of BPRO, Brett Parrish, and his co-driver, the versatile Jay Robotham, rounded out the podium.

With that victory, Casha and Roberts added their names to an illustrious honour roll of Queensland Excel Enduro champions.

For Casha, it was his second visit to victory lane at the paperclip in 2024, having also picked up a race win in the TCR Australia round at the venue eight weeks earlier.

This weekend, the format remains largely unchanged, but the way the winner of the weekend is determined HAS, and our own Zak Caban will elaborate on that, in more detail, later in the week.

Who will etch their name into Excel folklore this weekend?
Tune in to find out... when we bring you LIVE, LOCAL, EXCLUSIVE & FREE coverage, via the West Bremer Radio YouTube channel, from 9:15am AEST on Saturday.

: : Next weekend, Queensland Raceway plays host to the 2025 Nankang Motorsport PMP Excel Series Enduro, which will be on the platforms of your home of sport in , including the West Bremer Radio YouTube Channel.

First staged in 2014, it's an event that has a rich history, aided by the rapid rise in the popularity of Hyundai Excel racing in the first place.

11 events in 10 years, and a spectacle that has changed and evolved along the way, most specifically through the format of the race, and the fact that it now counts towards the overall QLD Excel Cup Championship.

One of the key aspects is the calibre of the drivers it attracts, from all different avenues of Australian Motorsport, and the event's honour roll is clear evidence of that.

It's a marquee event of the annual Motorsport calendar, and a signature event in any Hyundai Excel racing season, and the 2025 instalment is just around the corner.

We look forward to sharing more details with you in the lead-up to September 27, including the full entry list... keep your eyes peeled over the next few weeks, as series regulars announce just who they're teaming up with, for next weekend's showpiece.

: Australiaโ€™s FIRST, BIGGEST and BEST Hyundai Excel Endurance race meeting returns to Queensland Raceway at the end of September, and this time, itโ€™s going GLOBAL.

The 2025 Nankang World Excel Enduro not only doubles as Round 4 of the 2025 Nankang Queensland Excel Cup โ€“ the start of the second-half of the championship โ€“ but also serves as the headline act of the third Queensland Racing Drivers Championship (QRDC) event of 2025, on Festival of Motorsport weekend at the paperclip.

Now in its 11th year, this marquee event brings together the best Excel racers in Queensland, who then engage the services of a whole host of drivers from other state-based racing categories, and even some of the biggest names from the upper echelons of Australian Motorsport, and a wide-range of national level categories, to perform those vitally important co-driver duties.

Former winners of this race include; current Repco Supercars Championship leader, Broc Feeney, as well as Nash Morris, 2023 Toyota 86 champion, Ryan Casha, and rising TA2 star, Alice Buckley, just to name a few.

This annual, keenly anticipated race meeting remains the showpiece, signature event of the Queensland Excel Cup season, and carries with it more weight than ever before in 2025, with it counting as a championship, points paying round for the series regulars.

Put simply, the role the co-drivers have to play, on the last weekend of September, is more important than ever before, especially if they happen to be driving alongside a prospective championship contender.

The format of this event has undergone a fair bit of change since its inception in 2014, but the two-race format, first introduced in 2024, remains unchanged for 2025.

After extending the race distance to 300km (96 laps) in 2023, organisers opted to split that down the middle in 2024, running two 150km races instead, with a short break in-between.

That short turnaround has been eliminated for 2025, with the first 48-lap race now scheduled for the Saturday afternoon, while the second will remain a feature of the Sunday program, and thatโ€™s the most significant year-on-year change to the event structure.

In further good news for the exposure and growth of this iconic event, the addition of dedicated, and comprehensive broadcast media coverage will ensure that teams and drivers will be able to showcase their product to family, friends, and sponsors, while fans of the category at large wonโ€™t have to be trackside to have the best seat in the house.

The Nankang Queensland Excel Cup has engaged the services of the Ipswich-based production company, West Bremer Media, to showcase this prestigious event, in sound and vision, LIVE, EXCLUSIVE & FREE, to a worldwide audience, via their Facebook and YouTube platforms.

Coverage will be fronted by anchor, Zak Caban, whoโ€™s no stranger to this paddock, having commentated the series from 2017-2019.

Caban will also lead the play-by-play commentary, as West Bremer Sport presents commercial free coverage of every on-track session for the Korean pocket rockets.

Category manager, Brett Peters, welcomed the announcement of the live broadcast, as the countdown to the final weekend of September ramps up.

"2025 is going to be our biggest and best enduro yet, and I can't wait. Not only is West Bremer Sport broadcasting the event via their YouTube and audio channels, but we have several more "star" co-drivers attending than previouslyโ€, said Peters.

He continued, "For a couple of years, the drivers and crew have loved calling our annual event the โ€˜World Excel Enduroโ€˜, and now, thanks to the support from Nankang Tyres Australia, and West Bremer Sport, anyone, anywhere in the world, can watch our fabulous racing."

West Bremer Sportโ€™s coverage of the Nankang Motorsport Excel Enduro will be exclusive and extensive, commencing at 12pm AEST, on Friday, September 26, and continuing across the weekend, with visual coverage commencing on Saturday, September 27.

Full broadcast details and information will be released closer to the event, including confirmation of the entry list, and the star co-driver signings that go with it.

To celebrate the return of to the platforms of West Bremer Radio, your Home of Sport in has dug into the archives, and will revisit the last time they covered the Peters Motorsport Promotions Excel Cup Enduro (audio only), with a full replay of the 2019 EFS 4x4 Accessories 170, which was run and won on the 14th and 15th of September that year, on a weekend in which the category shared top billing with the Australian Formula Vee National Challenge, which was being staged at the paperclip for the first time in 18 years.

Youโ€™ll be able to re-live all the drama and excitement of that event, from 12pm AEST, on Sunday, September 21, via West Bremer Sport, which you can listen to, for FREE, via the website, and FREE app.

As for the championship itself, as we bring you this announcement, theyโ€™re currently half-way through their third round of the season, out at Morgan Park Raceway in .

Itโ€™s their only visit to the 2.967km venue in 2025, before they return to their traditional home base, where the entirety of the second-half of the campaign will play out.

QR will host three rounds, in 7 weeks, beginning with the enduro, and ending on the second weekend of November, when the Nankang QLD Excel Cup champion of 2025 will be crowned.

The QLD PMP Excel Series is proudly sponsored by: Nankang Tyres Australia, Castrol Australia, MPI - Max Papis Innovations, K&N Filters, SP Tools, and WinmaX Brakes.

The series is sanctioned by the Australian Autosport Alliance (AASA), and promoted by Peters Motorsport Promotions, with the enduro staged in conjunction with QR Competition Events.

Huge news confirmed. Our next round which is our annual enduro will be streamed to "the world".
