Well done to everybody that competed at ANQ Champs in Mackay. Hope everyone had alot of fun. I personally have never attended a comp that was so consistently windy which made for tough conditions.

Last week got to spend a few days in Mackay with Charlize at Oceania Championships. Charlize represented Australia in U/18 Heptathlon, Discus and Javelin. Finished 2nd in Heptathlon, 3rd in Javelin and 4th in Discus.
Squad members Macca, Abbie and Izzy then flew in to compete.
Macca finishing with 2 Golds in LJ & TJ and a Silver in 60m in the Masters competition 45-50yr old.
Abbie and Izzy competed with Club mates in the U/16 Teams challenge. Abbie finished with PB's in LJ and 300mH and good performances in HJ and 90mH and Izzy ran away with PB's in 100m and 200m and also competed in LJ and 400m.

Got to spend the week in Sydney watching this awesome bunch compete from 26/3-2/4. Well done all and bring on next season. All had a season of growth and development to be proud of
