Thank you to Rose Siddans for this lovely photo of ‘Vertigo’ as we were walking back to the stables after Champion Stallion.

‘Vertigo’ did us proud again yesterday at the Qld Challenge Show, taking out Champion Senior Stallion & then Supreme Male Exhibit. To win the Warwick Toft Memorial Award is an emotional moment for Wayne & to win this twice now with Vertigo is an honour.
Thank you to the Show Committee & volunteer workers for all your hard work, to the Judge & Sponsors and for all the well wishes and congratulations at the show from people- much appreciated. It’s been a battle for Wayne to heal his broken body and make it back into the ring to show his boy. To have the generations of breeding highlighted is always the pinnacle. We bred him, his dam ‘Charaway Just A’Dream J’ and own his grandfather & both grandmothers validates our years of love for the Arabian breed.

We will be at the Queensland Challenge Show tomorrow afternoon (Saturday) for the purebred halter classes and will bring these left over stock of halter Wonder Whips.
3 sizes:- 48”/ 121cm with extra lash $60.00, 46”/117 cm standard $50.00 & 36”/92cm standard $40.00. Cannot be posted so collect & pay in person only at the Challenge Show. We are stable .

Feed for the winter secured

Sad day here yesterday with us losing Lane’s cattle dog ‘Snowball’.
We did not realise until late last night he had been bitten by a snake and despite our best efforts the venom had taken hold & he passed during the night. Snakes were his nemesis as we nursed him to recovery from another snake bite in 2023.
Snowball was kept from our first litter of Aust Cattle dog pups in 2021 and was the father of the litter born in July 2025.
He leaves a very big hole on the farm 😢

Second day in from the bottom paddock and back into work - Arabian riding pony gelding ‘Magistrate’ (Taralea Justify x Magical of Sefton) was mouthed & driven a couple of years ago then turned out. Now time for finishing and prepping for sale.
