Q1 COMMISSIONING COMPLETE: TRIAL FEES FOR Q1 FROM MON 5 MAY

Racing Queensland has today advised the QGRC that the Q1 Trials Commissioning period is now complete.
The QGRC has decided to delay implementing trial fees for the Q1 until Monday 5 May, to allow participants time to adjust to this change.

UPDATE: QRIC has advised that the on-course vet is only in place from 9am - 3pm. Therefore, the 3-5pm trial blocks will not be covered under the Racing Queensland RMIS.

Q1 TRIALS MONDAY 21 APRIL NOW SATURDAY 19 APRIL

Q1 Trials for Monday 21 April (7am - 3pm) have been moved to Saturday 19 April (9am - 5pm), as a result of the race day change just announced by Racing Queensland.

Existing bookings for Monday 21 April have been transferred to Satuday 19 April in the On The Clock system (but pushed back 2 hours, given the 9am start time). If you wish to cancel your trials, please ensure you do so on the On The Clock platform so others may book them.

From Racing Queensland

RQ advises the Q1 Lakeside Saturday, April 19 meeting has been transferred to Monday, April 21. First race 12.04pm. Penalty free scratchings are available at this meeting due to this change.

RQ also advises the Q1 Lakeside Sunday, April 20 meeting first race has been rescheduled to 3:07pm.

The QGRC Q1 trial session scheduled for Monday, April 21 has been transferred to Saturday, April 19.

RQ and the QGRC are continuing to work closely with local authorities regarding the temporary lighting in place when entering and exiting the venue.

Q STRAIGHT TRIALS FOR WEDNESDAY 9 APRIL CANCELLED

Further, the previously scheduled Q Straight trials for Thursday 10 April and Friday 11 April will not proceed.

QGRC will advise when Q Straight trials will resume.

Q2 trials are scheduled to commence from Tuesday 15 April.

Q TRIALS UPDATE

The Queensland Greyhound Racing Club (QGRC), together with Racing Queensland, has reviewed the earlier changes made to trial conditions at The Q.

We thank the industry participants for their respectful feedback in relation to these suggested changes. As was originally noted, the QGRC reserves the right to make changes to trial conditions at any time, to ensure that we are providing the best and safest opportunity for greyhounds to successfully trial at The Q.
