Ipswich City’s June League Day 🎉

Ipswich league day event is on this weekend right after the Rocklea League (and is only a 16min drive away).

This event will we will be handicap division only on offer. Game plan to return back to Radom draw doubles once I’m back on the mend.

Update: We had a number of players wanting round ratings. So we will do a individual round but then add the total of both yours and your random draw doubles partner together and divide it by two. This will also ensure everyone still gets max amount of throws.

This event will we will be transitioning to Radom draw doubles with the winner taking the pot. The intention of this change is to continue to support our community coming together and getting to see and hear how different players approach our lines.

We are pleased to announce that expressions of interest are now OPEN for passionate selectors, talented players, and a dedicated team manager for the Australian Disc Golf Team. The 2024 campaign will see the team compete at the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) World Team Disc Golf Championships (WTDGC) in Perth from 6-9th November 2024. If you've got the skills, the love for the game, and the Aussie team spirit, we want YOU on board!

Our High performance committee, consisting of experienced team players Kingsley Flett, Jonathan Jonas, Sally Hill and Darren Stace-Smith, have put together a selection policy, timeline and other information for the campaign. Exciting time for our disc golf community!

Over the course of 2023, ADG has been working to develop a strategic plan for 2023-2028 - We are now pleased to present the plan resulting from that process to our members!

ADG's operations between 2023 and 2028 will be guided by this document.

Disc Golf 2028 presents a blueprint for how ADG, in collaboration with our key partners will ensure the continued growth and thriving future of Disc Golf in Australia between 2023 and 2028.

We will be hosting a Town Hall meeting to discuss any questions our community may have after reading through this document, stay tuned to this page for details of that meeting.
