It is with deep regret we acknowledge the sad passing of David 'Millsy' Mills this week. Millsy was a gentle giant with a deep love for the Swifts club and we send sincere sympathies and condolences to all of his family and friends.

🏆 Player of the Match Round 6 Michaeli Taua 🏆

Michaeli is the kind of player that gets both her teammates and the crowd up and about. She plays with heart, always putting her body on the line for the team. From her strong carries to the big defensive shots you can hear from the sideline, her presence on the field is hard to miss.

A quiet achiever off the field, but once she steps onto it, she is hard to stop!

Special mention to our forwards this week who laid the platform for us all game. Their effort through the middle, tough carries, and willingness to keep turning up made us hard to stop and helped build momentum for the whole team.

🏆 Players of the Match Round 7 Rouenna Seiloa and Jade Samatua 🏆

Rouenna was outstanding all game, providing quality service and helping keep the team moving around the field. Her communication was strong, her defence was on point, and she consistently put her teammates in good positions. A complete performance on both sides of the ball.

Jade’s work rate was second to none. She never stopped competing, constantly looking for work and doing the little things that often go unnoticed. Her effort, toughness, and willingness to keep turning up for her teammates had a huge impact on the game and helped set the standard for the team.
