Jakt Racing

It’s a miracle we even made it this weekend. The amount of things that were against us from the start making it to the track. But we got there. With the damage to the Getz, people starting to fix the car, then disappearing without a trace, new motor installed, and then the seat not apparently fitting back in the car. But we got there, both cars were eventually back out on track. With the help of some amazing people at the track, Jayson’s seat was fixed and installed all within an hour and I had one happy racer after being able to get back out doing what he loves. Was Ashleigh’s first time racing in the swift, first race ( super sprint, 3 laps per session) was 4:45, by the end of the weekend she was hitting 4:24. Proud of them both

Back to the track for a test day, and a new car for Jayson and Ash. Hopefully by the end of the month, both cars will be out on track giving it their best.

First race weekend for both Jayson and Ashleigh racing at Morgan Park, had a few bumps along the way but that’s race life.
