Different Walks of Life, One Dragon Boat Family! 🐲🛶

At Ipswich Dragon Boat Club, our paddlers come from all walks of life. We have mothers and daughters, dads and daughters, husbands and wives, best friends, and even complete strangers who have become lifelong friends. 💕

We all have different backgrounds, different stories and different reasons for stepping into the boat. But the moment we pick up our paddles, those differences disappear.

We become one team, one family, paddling together towards the same goal. 💪🛶🐲

It’s not just about dragon boating. It’s about the friendships we build, the laughter we share, the challenges we overcome and the memories we create along the way.

Because at the end of the day, we may all come from different walks of life, but in the boat, we are one big family. 💙

🎸🎶 “SIMPLY THE BEST!” 🐲💙

From rocking out with our air guitars to putting our paddles in the water, our team certainly knows how to bring the energy! 🤘😂

Before taking on a massive 21km paddle, our crew kicked things off with a little pre-paddle entertainment!

Once on the water, every paddler gave it their all, showing incredible determination, teamwork and spirit from start to finish! 💪🛶

We couldn’t be prouder of this amazing crew! From the laughs on land to the hard work on the water, you really are simply the best!❤️

🚨 IMPORTANT TRAINING NOTICE!🚨

🐉 No dragon boat training this weekend – 17th & 18th October!

Our Ipswich Dragon Boat Club paddlers are heading down to Murwillumbah, NSW, to take part in the Woolumbin Long Paddle – 20km event! 🐲🙌

Please note that training is cancelled for all members and visitors this weekend while our team is away.

💙We wish all our paddlers the very best of luck as they take on the 20km challenge! We can’t wait to hear all about it!

We look forward to welcoming everyone back on the water next weekend! 🐉🌊
