NRL Schools Rugby League

The U18 Girls Rugby League team proudly represented the school at the NRL U18 Schoolgirl Trophy on Thursday 7th May at Somerset Park, Thornton. With minimal preparation as a newly formed team, the girls took to the field with confidence and pride. The girls faced a tough Callaghan College Jesmond side first up, going down in the second half. In their second match, they secured a strong win over Francis Greenway High School, highlighting their teamwork and sportsmanship. The girls showed great spirit throughout the day, supporting each other as well as the boys team. Well done!

Congratulations to Zane Harrison on making his NRL debut for the Gold Coast Titans tonight.

Zane graduated from PBC in 2024 after helping steer the Reds to a National Schoolboys Trophy victory and now becomes NRL Red #59.

A fantastic achievement and a proud moment for the PBC community. We wish Zane all the best for his debut.

We're proud to announce Kayla, Leilani and Arianna have been selected to the Queensland White Girls Rugby League team to compete at the Nationals in July, following the Queensland Secondary Schools State Championships held in Gladstone last week.
