Today Miss Robinson is testing for her 3rd Dan ... the hard work has been put in, now is your time to show how far you have come.
Bai Rui Ipswich is a TKD club which has a great family atmosphere. We have students of all ages and we teach both the physical and cultural aspects of TKD.
Bai Rui is one of Australia's biggest schools with over 30 years of service to the community.. This page is for the students and supporters of the Bai Rui Taekwon-Do Bundamba club. This is a place for you all to share information and keep updated with what is happening with us.

Thank you to all students who attended our first of three planned Regional Masters Seminars for 2026.
This Seminar was presented by Master Rob Taylor and he covered kicking and patterns with a focus on basics and directional awareness.
With our first 2026 Lockyer Valley Testing next weekend, this was a great chance to train with a Bai Rui Msster and take away some tips and knowledge to help settle those Testing nerves.
The next two Regional Masters Seminars are planned for Nanango and Goondiwindi. It would be great to see the same support for those seminars.
Coming together as a school to learn from our Bai Rui Masters is a long running privilege we have had as Bai Rui students. Keep an eye on the calendar for upcoming seminars.
Much appreciation to Master Taylor for his time delivering our first Seminar and for taking the extra time to critique some Black Belt patterns after the Seminar.

Letâs be honest...promoting someone who hasnât earned it teaches them nothing.
No Instructor enjoys telling a student theyâre not ready for a belt exam. But a real teacher stands firm. If they donât, theyâre not teaching value. Theyâre just selling rank.
In a culture of participation awards, many people think showing up and going through the motions is enough. Itâs not. That is not how martial arts training works.
We teach the standards. We drill the material. You go home, study, practice, and return ready to prove youâve mastered it. Only then should promotion even be considered. Otherwise, we are failing to teach how achievement actually works.
There are no participation trophies in a good martial arts school. We push students to become better than they were yesterday. A Master must clearly define expectations and stand firm on them. If we donât, we fail to instill one of the most important traits martial arts teaches- INDOMITABLE SPIRIT
That spirit is what carries students to heights they never imagined...both in their Taekwon-Do and in life outside the dojang.
Itâs easy to spot someone who was handed a black belt instead of earning it. The fundamentals arenât there. Whatâs tragic is that many of those students might have truly earned it under proper standards...and been GREAT had they had a good Instructor.
If youâre afraid to tell a student theyâre not ready, youâre not helping them. Promotion should come only after the work has been done, the standards met, and the skills proven.
Anything less is catering to comfort instead of building character.
Thatâs how I see it.

We are also looking for new or excellent condition secondhand bags to put the items in. These can be backpacks, handbags, tote bags etc.
