Soooo !!! I'm a day late (nothing new there lol ) but HAPPY BIRTHDAY FALLYN!!!! Ashleigh Green tell her I remembered! She shares her bday with bam bam and his HAPPY GOTCHA DAY!!! It's been 2 years since bam bam has come to live with his herd of mares! I don't regret bringing my boy home !! He is worth everything I've ever put into him time ,love, money (senior boy) 22 yrs young!!! Momma's man you will forever be!!!!!

Last night had to be one of the most comical and milestone sharing lessons I've had in a while!! The milestone well I can't share that as it's not mine to tell !!! The comical well .... Hailey and her POV barn memes had to be videoed and shared !!! As funny as it was her being able to follow through and finish the task of bringing the wheelbarrow back WITH A LIVE SPIDER ON IT!!!!! ITS HUGE!!!!! It's no secret to my students that it's a fear of mine they tease me with it all the time lol 😂 Hailey normally would have just asked me to do it but instead it was made to be a funny follow through moment !!!! I love that the kids and I are able to share experiences with each other! Having my kids 10 yrs apart isn't always easy but we make it work ! It's a good thing there isn't more seats in my car lol!! Came with 3 kids and left with 4!! Being "that mom," that always has extra kids tag along has always made me feel special and pretty "cool 😎" !! Being a safe space for kids of all ages including adults is something I take to heart!!

Totally fell asleep last night before posting !!! BUT September.13 is the 9yr anniversary "gotcha day" for two of the most beautiful mares I've ever known !!! Quincy and Lolly Pop are the girls who started my horse journey of learning and healing!!!! I tried out both of these horses at the same place. At that time I didn't purchase lolly.... Quincy chose me that day! A friend of the family bought lolly and kept her at our family barn. By October of 2018 lolly became ours (Vanessa's ;p ). I can't thank these horses enough for putting up with my non sense over the years and truly helping me through what was (IN ALOT OF WAYS) the hardest but most rewarding years of my life! And most of all helping me find myself during all the chaos! If you've ever had a horse have your heart you'll completely understand what I mean when I say choosing myself for my children ,my pets, my life when given ultimatums was the best thing I've ever done!!! The girls have been my therapy through it all! For me it's the only form of therapy that has every worked! I'm glad I'm not the same person.and continue to work on ME!!

I'm usually the one taking the photos! But last night Keagan McLean snapped this one. While Addy was working with lolly , bam bam came up and just stood with me for a snuggle. I very much enforce respect of my space BUT he came in ever so gently and just stood there while I leaned into him and watched Addy. I do believe horses love their humans. At least I KNOW mine do! Almost 2 yrs since I got to be your momma bammie you are such a special boy!!!
