A huge showing from 18 of our Level 5–7 gymnasts at the 2026 Gymnastics NSW State Championships over the weekend! 🤸‍♀️🏅

Qualifying for State Championships is an achievement in itself, but to step out onto the competition floor and perform with such confidence and composure, while also taking home some incredible results and personal best scores, is something else entirely.

A true testament to our gymnasts, our program and the coaches who work alongside them every week. We are SO proud and so happy to see all of the girls’ hard work paying off! Well done to every one of our gymnasts! 👏

🚨 RECREATIONAL TESTING IS COMING! 🚨

Our next Recreational Testing period commences Monday 14th September and will run for two weeks, concluding on Saturday 26th September 2026! 🤸‍♀️✨

Testing will be completed during your child’s regular gymnastics lesson, so please ensure they are present throughout this period to allow our coaches to complete their assessment.

⚠️ Please note: There will be no testing conducted outside of these dates. We look forward to seeing our Recreational Gymnasts progression and results 🤩

Next week we’re celebrating Father’s Day and Footy Fever Week at KinderGym! 🎉

We’d love our KinderGym families to bring along Dad, Grandpa, Poppy, Uncle or another special male figure in your little one’s life to enjoy some fun, make special Father’s Day cards and create some precious memories together. 💙

And of course, come dressed in your favourite footy team jersey as we celebrate Jersey Day and help raise awareness for Organ and Tissue Donation! 🏉👕💙

Recent Competition Success! 🤸‍♀️🏅

Congratulations to our Level 3 & 4 gymnasts who competed over the weekend at Grand Prix #4! It was great to see the girls competing at a new gym, gaining valuable experience and continuing to build on their results competition after competition. Well done girls! 👏

A huge shoutout also goes to Sophia (Level 8), Ruby (Level 6) and Ivy (Level 5) who recently represented the Sydney West Region at the 2026 NSW Combined High Schools Championships! It was fantastic to see our girls shining on the school sport stage and representing their region, with some great results across the competition.

Last week, we farewelled a very special member of our Y family, Addison. 🥹

Addison has been a huge part of our team and community for so many years — starting her gymnastics journey in KinderGym back in 2011, progressing through to competitive gymnastics until 2022, and then making the transition into our coaching team in 2023. That’s an incredible 15 years of memories, growth, friendships and achievements with The Y Penrith ❤️

We are so grateful to Addison and her family for the countless hours, dedication and support they have given to our gymnastics community over the years. Addison has made such a lasting impact on our team, and she will be very much missed. Thank you for everything, Addison. We wish you all the very best for this next chapter! ✨
