Olympic Fun & Fitness / The Wilding Project Olympic & The Wilding Project specialise in recreational gymnastics and parcour classes for kids. Olympic has been teaching people how to move since 1978!

We specialise in Gymnastics, Parkour, Free-Running and Natural Movement for children, young people and adults. We believe there is no reason why the movements we learn as children should not be available to us in our adult years so we made a place to deliver qualitymovement programs for all ages. We're more than just a gymnastics club!

It's MERCH WEEK!.. 📣. Check out our NEW cool gear.. We have T-Shirts, Bags, Hats and Hoodies!

Our team has been working hard behind the scenes designing and securing a local quality supplier.

The new digs are colourful, light and bright. They look super cool, affordable for families and are delivered straight to your door.

There is also a unique story to the design of some products that have a Norwegian influence. (In link below)

In also keeping the culture local, Parcours coach Nathanael (who is a conceptual designer) also created our hoodies.

The range of products, designs and colours can be viewed in our new online shop.

NATE WHITE is competing at a National Parcour competition in SYDNEY! (NSW). Oct 8-12.

Nate was selected to represent W.A and 'The Wilding Project' to compete at NATGAT XX for it's 20th anniversary.

The city becomes a playground!

The competition brings the best parcour athletes from around Australia to compete in various events to promote physical movement and a positive supportive culture.

The 5 full day event includes..

• Day 1 (Thursday, October 8): Pyrmont Jam + Stick or Swim Game + BBQ

• Day 2 (Friday, October 9): Sydney Harbour Ferry Jam & Landmark Jumps (Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay)

• Day 3 (Saturday, October 10): Main Skill & Style Championships at Parramatta Parkour Park + DJs & Open Jams

• Day 4 (Sunday, October 11): Rhodes Scavenger Hunt & Speed Challenge

• Day 5 (Monday, October 12): Manly Beach Day + Flipo Bingo

TESTIMONIAL RECEIVED! 💌 Our recent 'Team Futures' recreational competition prompted a happy parent to send beautiful feeback about the event and 'Olympic' as a club. (Below)

Hi Team,

This is a running-out-the-door-on-a-Monday email, but I felt it was necessary. 😂

A huge thank you for the competition yesterday and for all the hard work you have put into supporting our girls to compete with confidence.

Yesterday was Piper’s first ever competition. She was so excitedly nervous, and the event was run so smoothly. She came away absolutely thrilled with how she went and so proud of all her events.

But what I loved watching even more was the support from the coaches and the girls. I honestly couldn’t tell who was more chuffed when someone succeeded — Leela, Kirstie or the girls! 😂

The high fives, the “well done”, the encouragement when someone made a mistake and the genuine excitement for each other… wow. You guys have created such a safe and supportive space for these girls to have a go, make mistakes and celebrate their successes.

Piper is absolutely thrilled and already can’t wait for another chance to compete.

I’m so glad we chose Olympic over 10 years ago. It really does feel like home.

Piper’s current life goal is to be 16 and come back as a coach for you. 😂

I think that says everything about the environment you have created.

WOW.. 'Team Futures' competition at 'Olympic' Gymnastics was a INCREDIBLE.

On Sunday September 20 a club milestone was broken.

After more than 10 year hiatus from inter-club competition, we humbly welcomed other recreational club programs to showcase routines in front of family and friends.

It took the amazing team from Recreation Gymnastics Australia (RGA) to host the competition, and it was a HUGE success.

We are so thankyou for RGA, and especially the gymnasts who bravely competed.

We are PROUD of you all.

With the guidance of their coaches, they overcome their nerves and tried their very best. They were also treated to medals on the dias at the end of the competition.

Big thanks to Katrina for visiting us from Melbourne and running the event.

Also 'Thankyou' to Olympic's Team Futures co-ordinator Kirstie, and coaches Sohee, Leela and Jamisha for making it possible.

We look forward to bigger and better events in the future!

The next Grand Final 'Team Futures' event will be held very soon.

What are 'The Wilding Project' crew up to NOW???

Building Challenges. That's What!.

A small team spent a Saturday installing a brand new piece of equipment. We call it the 'Ninja Climbing Station'.

Our program has spent years perfecting a curriculum which has been largely ground based. The new equipment piece has flipped the script!

Our students are now going to be challenged with various forms of climbing skills.

Incline, Decline, Lateral, Double shuffles, Backwards, Forwards, Quadrupedal's. The possibilities blow our minds.

We can't wait for students to start using the piece and challenging themselves.

The Wilding Project visits 'TRINITY' College!

Our team proudly delivered a fundamental Parcour workshop for hundreds of students at Trinity's beautiful campus on Perth's Swan River.

Year 3 -7 students showcased their Precisions, Tik Taks, Parcour Rolls and various Vaults to Groovy tunes.

The workshop was a closing event to Trinity's 'Wellness Week' which is a focus on improving health through various activities and education.
