IT'S WA STATE TITLE TIME!

The countdown is officially on!

Condren Motorsport is getting ready to head to Great Southern Kart Club in Wagin this weekend for the 2026 Curtis Electrical WA Dirt Kart State Title. 🏁

Brax will take on a huge field of 22 Junior Lights competitors, all chasing the opportunity to become the 2026 WA State Champion. With that many talented young drivers in the field, we're expecting some seriously competitive racing!

The last few meetings have been about preparation — testing, engine tuning, kart setup, consistency and making sure we're finishing races. Now it's time to put everything we've learnt together and see what we can do on the big stage.

We're heading into the State Title with one goal — give Brax the best kart we can, take it one race at a time and leave absolutely nothing on the table.

A special shout-out to BRK Karts, who are the official sponsor of the Junior Lights class for the 2026 WA State Title.

Not only do they continue to support Brax and Condren Motorsport, they're also getting behind the entire Junior Lights field for one of the biggest meetings of the year. Thank you for supporting the next generation of racers.

THE WORK BEHIND THE RACING

Cash for Containers Rockingham is our family business and has proudly supported Brax and Condren Motorsport from the very beginning.

However, Brax also understands that racing takes plenty of hard work—both on and off the track.

When he isn’t at school, racing or working in the shed with Dad (Brendan) you’ll often find him at Cash for Containers sorting containers, helping customers, completing jobs on the tablet or moving bins. He works with us on Saturday mornings and throughout the school holidays, doing his part to help support his own racing journey.

It isn’t always trophies, race suits and chequered flags. There are plenty of hours of hard work behind every opportunity Brax receives, and we are incredibly proud of the effort he puts in.

Cash for Containers Rockingham is more than a logo on the kart or race car—it is where Brax is learning the value of hard work, responsibility and earning his way towards the goals he wants to achieve.

🏁 WELCOME BACK TO THE TEAM 🏁

Condren Motorsport is incredibly proud to welcome back Avalon Group WA for Brax’s 2026/2027 racing season!

Founded by Callum and Carl Williamson in 2015, Avalon Group WA provides wet-hire graders, dozers, excavators and other earthmoving equipment for projects across Western Australia.

Avalon Group WA’s support of Brax is very special to our family. Brax has always looked up to Callum, and we are incredibly grateful for the wonderful friendship he share with Callum, Sharnee and their children, Mahli and Oska.

Their support and belief in Brax—both on and off the track—mean so much to our entire family.

Condren Motorsport is incredibly proud to welcome back John Day Racing for Brax's 2026/2027 racing season! 🧡🏁

John Day & Co Racing has been involved in speedway for more than 60 years, bringing generations of experience, passion and dedication to the sport.

However, their support of Brax goes far beyond racing. The love Brax has for the Day ladies and the entire Day family proves that family isn’t always defined by blood.

The encouragement, friendship and support they show Brax—both on and off the track—is truly incredible. They celebrate the good days, stand beside him through the challenging ones and are always there when our family needs them.

We are extremely grateful to have such wonderful people continuing this journey alongside us. Their relationship with Brax means more to our family than words could ever properly express.

Consistency Gets the Job Done at Jenna!

Our final hit-out before the WA State Titles is done, and Saturday at Jenna Dirt Kart Club was exactly what we needed. 👊

With 13 competitors in Junior Lights, the goal for Brax and the team wasn’t about going out and trying to win every race. It was about consistency, finishing every race and putting together a solid day from start to finish.

Brax didn’t take a race win all day — instead, he put together: three 3rd’s and one 2nd

Four races. Four finishes. Four consistent results.

And when the points were added up at the end of the day, Brax finished as the highest points scorer and took the overall win!

A great reminder that sometimes you don’t need to win every battle to win the day. Consistency counts.

Congratulations to all 13 Junior Lights competitors on some great racing and especially our overall podium:

Brax and Brendan are back on the road today, heading to Jenna Dirt Kart Club for our final race meeting before one of the biggest events on our dirt kart calendar.

With the 2026 WA State Dirt Kart Championships at Great Southern Kart Club in Wagin starting Friday, 4 September, this weekend is another valuable opportunity to get laps under Brax's belt and continue working on the kart.

After our last trip to Jenna focused heavily on R&D, Brendan has been busy behind the scenes once again. Today gives the team another chance to work through engine tuning and kart setup, gather valuable feedback, and see where we're at before the big one.

Then we'll have a weekend away from racing to regroup, go over everything we've learnt, and get the kart prepared and ready for Wagin.

For us, it's not just about the result at Jenna. It's about making every lap count and getting both driver and kart in the best possible position heading into the State Titles.

Jimmy and Mel have been involved in karting and speedway for more than 30 years, with Jimmy having raced himself. Their support of Condren Motorsport goes back many years—they supported Brendan throughout his racing days and have proudly sponsored Brax since he first started racing at just five years old.
