This is probably one of the most important aspects of what is so wrong in most Martial Arts Organisations. Rather it promotes: ego, bias, superiority and predators, the exact opposite of what it truly means.

We often hear that karate builds discipline, respect, humility and character.
Perhaps it can.
But I have known people who trained for decades, held senior grades and taught others, yet still showed very poor character.
