Our Riverlife Ripples hosted its last session this morning in what has been a delightful past 9 weeks. The Ripples has long been a dream for the club and is our first foray into a juniors program. We have loved watching our Ripples grow in confidence and in their footballing skills and can’t wait to see them as fully formed Rapids one day! 🌊

A massive shout out to our 2025 Men’s Player of the Year, Addison Brader, who has already achieved promotion with Brisbane Strikers FC this season and will now play in the FQPL1 Grand Final tomorrow at Spencer Park.

Addi joined us last season after self-confessing that he had fallen out of love with the game of football. He played a crucial part in our Grand Final push and was declared QCSA’s SM1 Player of the Season for his efforts throughout the 2025 season.

It’s been a delight to watch him fall back in love with the game over the past two years and have him taking on a more supportive role on the sidelines this season, stepping in to a coaching role when his Strikers commitments allowed him the availability.

Addi, we’re so proud of you mate and can’t wait to see you tear it up on the wing both tomorrow, and in the NPL! ⚡️
