Taking care of our bodies should be a top priority, but in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and training, it’s easy to forget to prioritise self-care and recovery.

Consider this your reminder to carve out some time in your routine for recovery and prehab 💪 Whether it is incorporating more mobility work in your routine, taking a rest day or getting a proper treatment like acupuncture / massage, making time for recovery is key to preventing injury and promoting optimal health.

At Optimal Strong we say let’s get rid of the misnomer of ‘man’ in ‘strongman’. Strongman workouts can be the ultimate workout for females as women actually have a much higher capacity for volume then men. Meaning in this type of training you’ll get through a variety of different stations, with different strength and movement patterns each time.
