A big cheer for the following athletes who will be representing WA at the Australian Cross Country Championships next weekend in Victoria.

Not long to go now until registrations open for our Summer of Athletics. The board have been busy in the off season preparing for our new season. We will be having a busy bee next Sunday 16th August from 2.30pm to get all equipment repaired and ready for training to start in September.

If you can spare an hour or 2 we would love you to come along and help.

Over the weekend Harmony and Kyla were competing in the Annual Athletics West International Tour being held in Malaysia. Both girls were selected to represent WA based on their results at the State Championships back in March.

Joondalup Athletics Centre are extremely proud of Kyla and Harmony and their results over the weekend. This event is a highlight on the athletics calendar for our Under 15 & Under 16's and to have 2 athletes compete and come away with a huge haul of medals is a credit to the girls dedication and commitment to athletics.

Congratulations to both girls on their fantastic achievements over the weekend.
