🛡️🔥 **THE GREAT BEAUMARIS NETBALL DEBATE CONTINUES!**

**ROUND 2: DEFENDERS, IT'S YOUR TURN!** 👀

Yesterday, the attackers and Centre battled it out.

Tonight, we're giving the defenders their moment in the spotlight. And let's face it, they probably deserve one after spending every game getting whistled at! 😂

🛡️ **GK:** Spends the entire game battling someone twice their height while the umpire watches their every move.

💪 **GD:** Defends like their life depends on it. Gets called for contact anyway.

👀 **WD:** Works their socks off and still has to explain to people what they actually do.

**SO, WHO HAS THE HARDEST JOB?**

👇 **COMMENT YOUR VOTE BELOW!**

Defenders, this is your chance to prove you've got the toughest job on court.

Attackers, feel free to disagree. We know you will! 😂

The position with the most votes goes through to face Tuesday's champion in the **GRAND FINAL!** 🏆 🇦🇺

Let the friendly rivalry begin! 🧡🖤

🏐🔥 THE GREAT BEAUMARIS NETBALL DEBATE!

ROUND 1: WHO HAS THE HARDEST JOB ON COURT? 👀

Every netball position thinks they've got it tough. But we're letting YOU decide!

Tonight, four positions go head-to-head for a place in the grand final! 🏆

🎯 GS: Has one job. Misses a shot and suddenly everyone's a shooting coach.

⚡ GA: Expected to shoot, defend, run, feed and somehow be everywhere at once.

🏃 C: Runs approximately 47 kilometres per quarter and still gets told to work harder.

😤 WA: Does all the hard work getting the ball down court, then gets absolutely none of the glory.

WHO'S GOT IT HARDEST?

👇 VOTE IN OUR POLL!

And don't just vote for your own position because you play it. We know your tricks! 😂

The winner goes through to the GRAND FINAL!

Tomorrow, the defenders get their chance to fight back! 🧡🖤

🏐🧡 YOU KNOW YOU’RE A NETBALL PARENT WHEN… 😂

You leave the house with a water bottle, a jacket, a coffee and absolutely no idea where Court 17 is.

You’ve become an expert at shouting “HANDS UP!” despite never having played netball in your life.

Your car is permanently full of hair ties, stray socks and half-empty drink bottles.

You say “great game!” while secretly having absolutely no idea what that whistle was for. 😂

And somehow, every single week, you’re back on the sidelines doing it all again.

Because that’s what being part of the Beaumaris family is all about. 🧡🖤

YOUR TURN! 👇

Finish this sentence:

“You know you’re a netball parent when ________”

Funniest answer wins absolutely nothing except bragging rights. 😂

🏐🧡 SUNDAY NIGHT CONFESSIONS… NETBALL EDITION! 😂

Right, Beaumaris family. It’s confession time!

We’ve all done something at netball that we’re not particularly proud of…

😂 Shouted “FOOTWORK!” when you had absolutely no idea what happened.

☕ Turned up to the wrong court and watched five minutes of someone else’s child.

😬 Celebrated a goal so loudly your own kid told you to stop embarrassing them.

🏃 Forgotten it was your turn to score and suddenly developed a very convincing disappearing act.

🤫 Secretly blamed the umpire, then realised you didn’t actually know the rule.

NOW IT’S YOUR TURN! 👇

What’s your funniest netball confession?

Parents, coaches, managers, players and umpires… nobody’s safe! 😂

Best confession gets crowned Beaumaris Confession Queen for the week. Absolutely no prize, obviously! 🧡🖤

💛🖤 AWARDS NIGHT 2026 – PHOTO DUMP #1 📸✨

Who's ready for the photos?! 👀

What a night celebrating our U11s through to Opens and wrapping up another fantastic season at Beaumaris! 🏆

From our award winners to the photo booth, there were plenty of smiles, laughs and memories made!

We have WAY too many photos for one post, so here's the first lot! 🥳

📸 Keep your eyes peeled… there's plenty more to come! 💛🖤

🧡🖤 BEHIND EVERY GREAT TEAM ARE SOME INCREDIBLE VOLUNTEERS! 🖤🧡

Meet Coach Sally and Team Manager Julie! 👏

Both brand new to volunteering, both stepping up for their teams, and both taking to the courts this past Tuesday for the first time!

And they’re just two of the many wonderful people who make Beaumaris Netball Club what it is.

From organising teams and juggling fixtures to encouraging nervous players, celebrating little victories and somehow keeping everything running smoothly (most of the time! 😂), our volunteer coaches and managers do so much more than people realise.

Some have been doing it for years. Others, like Sally and Julie, are just getting started. But every single one makes a difference.

Without our volunteers, there simply wouldn’t be a club. 🏐

So here’s a massive THANK YOU to every coach and manager who gives up their time, energy and often their sanity to make netball happen for our kids.

And to Sally and Julie, welcome to the wonderful world of coaching and managing. You’ve no idea what you’ve signed up for! 😂🧡

Show some love and support for our amazing volunteers in the comments! 👇 👇 👇

🏆 AWARDS NIGHT SPOTLIGHT 🖤💛

Over the coming days, we’ll be celebrating some of the special people and achievements from our 2026 Awards Night.

First up is our Club Champion, Amelie Barnard.

Amelie has been part of Beaumaris since the U9s in 2018 and has given so much to the club ever since. This season, she led on court in U18 Division 1, supported Opens Division 2 through to the Grand Final, and umpired every week around her own games.

Her commitment, leadership and willingness to help wherever needed make her a very deserving Club Champion. Congratulations, Amelie! 💛
