I have just come back from a couple of awesome days in Rotto teaching at the Beaconsfield Primary School satellite campus. This is my second week there and we ended the day with a fabulous demonstration for the parents. Being able to bring this great sport to rural places is something I am passionate about!

Bringing Community Together
In Birdsville, sport is more than an activity—it’s a way to bring us all together.
Thanks to the Sporting Schools Taekwondo program, our students not only learned new skills, but our whole community came together to cheer them on.
Whether it was breaking boards or breaking barriers, we did it as one.
At Bedourie State School, Principal Danielle Carige is using Taekwondo to empower students in ways that reach far beyond the mat. With support from the Sporting Schools grant, students in this remote Queensland town are developing confidence, focus, and a glimpse into life beyond the outback.
