P2 for the states baby 🍾🥳

Well after a mixed weekend the dash for cash is done and dusted for 2022, after a bit of a slow start and only managing to qualify 5th the first two heats where up and down as we tried to adjust to the new kart and all the rubber that was lied down by the 180+ karts racing on the weekend. In heat 3 we managed to get 3rd and our lap times where getting towards to pointy end, after starting P3 for the final we managed to hold that spot until 2 laps from the end where we had a coming together with another kart resulting in loosing 4 spots and some damage to front end of the kart. But after we repair it and some more time in the seat to dial in the kart we should continue to improve, this weekend wouldn’t have been possible without the main pit crew constantly working on the kart and looking for ways to improve our weekend I thank you for everything that you do and appreciate it more than I can express, to everyone else who helped us out over the weekend I thank you and owe you a cold beverage. One last note from me it was really good seeing and talking to so many people that I haven’t seen in years, it really did bring back some good memories from days gone by 🍻

Only 6 days to go before the dash and after a fair amount of setup change we are ready to go 🏎

Starting to look a bit more race shape, to-do list tomorrow run the motor in and see if we get close to SEZ lap times 🤞

After watching on the side lines for too long and dipping our toes in at the SEZ round this year we are planning to a serous go at the dash for cash in November
