A big thank you to the ten club members who joined two QPWS Rangers on Saturday at Bellthorpe National Park for a solid day of track clearing.
We split into two teams of five. One group worked with the rangers to fully clear a track and repair a storm damaged culvert. The second group tackled another overgrown track filled with fallen trees and thick regrowth.
After five hours of hard work, one track is now completely open. The second track is close to done, with around 1 km still to clear and at least six fallen trees remaining.
Fantastic effort from everyone involved — great teamwork and a productive day in the park.

Our new Committee held its first meeting tonight and got straight to work!

Along with the usual committee handover and administration items, there were some great discussions about upcoming club activities, including the Club Christmas Party, Trip Planning Meetings, and future Training opportunities.

Of course, it wouldn't be a 4WD club committee meeting without a few conversations about vehicles, tracks, and upcoming adventures too!

We're looking forward to an exciting year ahead and sharing more details with members as plans come together.

Moreton Bay Expo
Thank you to all the volunteers that were able to help this weekend. Although weather conditions were not the best but we still had a fair amount of enquiries. Looking forward to next year.
Now for a few sunny days to dry out all the equipment.

A great weekend in the Bundaberg area.

Friday members arrived at our Burnett Heads accom. Friday night we went to Mon Repos Turtle Centre. We were group the and lucky to see 10 hatchlings and then another batch came towards the light as we were guiding the first batch to the water. BONUS

Saturday we took a drive to 1770 and head lunch on the deck followed by a drive back to Burnett Heads via Deep Water National Park.

Happy hour was enjoyed by all.

Sunday saw some members head home while others took the opportunity to visit the Bundaberg Distillery, the Barrel and Kalki Moon Gin Distillery. Dinner at the local pub and back to camp for an early night before the rest of the members make their way home or onwards to other adventures.
