The Horticulture Pavilion at the was bursting with colour last week, featuring displays that celebrated the positive impact that gardens and gardening can have.

Grow by was a standout feature, highlighting how every garden has the power to make a positive difference. From supporting our physical health and mental wellbeing to strengthening food security and fostering a deeper connection with nature, gardens can have a truly lasting impact.

To demonstrate that every space can play a role, Sophie designed the garden around three distinct settings - a balcony, a courtyard and a backyard.

Each area was filled with practical ideas and inspiration, showing how gardens of any size can become productive, sustainable and welcoming spaces for people and nature alike.

Monique from our Marketing team captured these photos of the display, noting how lush and vibrant they were in person!

We know plenty of gardens “guzzling” GOGO Juice in veggie beds and flowering pots, on roses, natives and fruit trees - but we’d not seen this before!

Alicia, from our SA sales team spotted this thirsty pig when she visited Serenity garden centre last week, which made us chuckle.

Garden centres and nurseries are such great places for inspiration in spring, and any time of year for that matter!

With spring underway, there’s plenty to do in the garden! 🌱

Our monthly Planting and Fertilising Guide provides seasonal planting and fertilising information, with recommendations tailored to all Australian climate zones, to help you know what to plant and how to care for it throughout the year.

Toby has been on site with us this week and has come with a friendly reminder that a change of season is a great reason to POPUL8 your soil! 🌱

With a sunny weekend ahead, it’s a great time to get outside and see how your garden has fared over winter. Are there any plants looking a little worse for wear? Any areas that could use some extra attention?

POPUL8 is recommended as a seasonal application across the entire garden and can also be applied as needed to stressed plants and areas that aren’t performing at their best.

POPUL8 contains a diverse microbiome of 200+ naturally occurring microbes, along with a further 52 specifically selected bacteria and fungi chosen for their ability to support nutrient cycling, nutrient liberation, nitrogen fixation, plant growth hormone production and resilience against disease.

So, while you’re out there assessing the garden and getting everything ready for spring, don’t forget about what’s happening beneath the surface.

Thanks for the reminder, Toby! 🐾

Neutrog Group Sales Manager, Darren Free, is in Fremantle this week for the Fertilizer Australia Conference 2026, joining more than 300 delegates from across Australia’s fertiliser industry.

It’s an industry that’s changing, with the conversation now extending well beyond traditional fertilisers to include biostimulants, biological fertilisers and the role they can play in building healthier soils and supporting Australian agriculture.

Darren is pictured here with National Farmers’ Federation President, Hamish McIntyre, taking the opportunity to chat all things agriculture and the future of fertilisers in Australia. 🌾

Today we celebrate all the dads and father figures, past and present, who brighten our days, share their wisdom and, of course, keep us entertained with a good Dad joke!

In honour of Father’s Day, we’d love to hear your best (or worst!) Dad jokes in the comments below.

Wishing all the Dads and father figures out there a very happy Father’s Day! 🌿

Almond blossoms, golden canola and mandarins… just another week on the road! 🌱

Luke from our Commercial Team has been out visiting growers across South Australia and Victoria this week and managed to capture a few of the different crops he came across along the way.

From orchards bursting into blossom to fields of canola glowing yellow and rows of mandarins, there’s certainly no shortage of variety.

And just like that, a week on the road becomes a little tour of what’s growing across SA and Victoria!

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from the to Neutrog’s Laboratory.

Hosted by our R&D team including Dr Felise Adams and Juhee Hada, the tour provided an opportunity to showcase the work happening behind the scenes at Neutrog, resulting in some fascinating conversations around soil health, microbes and the important work taking place at a microbial level.

It was fantastic to share our knowledge with the next generation of horticulture and agribusiness professionals and give them a closer look at the science behind what we do.

Thank you to the Ironwood students for the great questions and engaging discussion!

The Neutrog Garden is looking fresh after receiving a new layer of Whoflungdung across the garden beds.

As well as making the garden look fantastic, Whoflungdung will help protect the soil from the remaining cold and wet conditions, while helping to retain moisture and provide a source of organic matter as it breaks down.

With frosts already being experienced here in Kanmantoo, it’s well timed to help protect the garden and prepare the soil for the spring growth ahead.
