Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Location: Perth - Work from Home and Office
Hours: 15 hours per week

Are you a social media guru with a knack for storytelling, a flair for design, and a love for creative, community-centered marketing? We're looking for a talented Marketing Assistant

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Social Media Strategy & Ex*****on: Planning, posting, and crafting engaging copy for our social media platforms. You'll be the voice behind our brand, creating scroll-stopping content, including video and reels.

• Graphic Design & Content Creation: Design eye-catching visuals and content for social media, EDMs, and more. Skills in the Adobe Suite, Canva, and or other design tools are essential.

• Email Marketing (EDM) Strategy: Develop and manage email campaigns using platforms like MailChimp/Klaviyo. Create compelling emails that connect with our community engagement.

• Merchandise Design: Bring our brand to life by designing and creating merchandise that our community will love. Experience in creating merch designs is a big plus!

• Analytics & Ads: Familiarity with Google Ads and Analytics is desired, but not essential.

• AI Tools: Experience with AI tools like ChatGPT, Co-Pilot, or other AI-driven content assistance is an advantage.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• Creative Vision: A love for creating fresh, authentic, and community-focused content.

• Proficiency in Design: Experience with Adobe Suite, Canva, and or other design tools.

• Copywriting Skills: Ability to craft engaging, on-brand copy for various platforms.

• Social Media Expertise: Knowledge in social media strategy, planning, and ex*****on.

• Email Marketing Savvy: Experience with EDMs using platforms like MailChimp or Klaviyo.

Full Time or Part Time Assistant Manager | The Yard Gym and Life and Soul Port Hedland

Do you have a passion for fitness and the leadership skills to inspire a dynamic team? We're on the lookout for an Assistant Manager at our busy club and studio in Port Hedland.

As Assistant Manager, you’ll partner with our manager to lead a motivated team of trainers and cultivate a strong community among our members. If you have what it takes to organise teams, grow membership and inspire a fitness community, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing daily operations

• Inspire, and help manage a team of trainers

• Develop and implement strategies to grow membership and enhance member experience

• Drive community engagement and build strong relationships with members

• Implement retention strategies to maintain high member satisfaction

• Ensure the studio is clean, organised, and all equipment is maintained.

• Manage class schedules and studio rosters

• Update social media pages daily

Requirements:

• Minimum Cert 3 in Fitness

• First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Leadership and communication skills

• Strong organisational skills and an ability to multitask.

• Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals

• Ability to work flexible hours

Location: Derby, WA
Position Type: Permanent Part Time

About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and driven Manager to oversee the daily operations of our club in Derby. If you have a love for fitness, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a small community environment, this role is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day running of the gym, ensuring it operates smoothly and efficiently.

• Membership Growth & Experience: Develop and implement strategies to attract new members and enhance the overall member experience.

• Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with members, drive local engagement, and foster a supportive fitness community.

• Retention Strategies: Implement effective retention strategies to ensure high member satisfaction and minimise churn.

• Facility Maintenance: Ensure the gym is always clean, organised, and that equipment is well-maintained and safe for use.

• Manage Schedules & Rosters: Oversee schedules and rosters to ensure smooth operations.

• Social Media: Keep our social media platforms updated with engaging and relevant content to promote the gym and its activities.

Requirements

• Any fitness qualification preferred but not essential.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.

• A passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals.

• Ability to work flexible hours.

• Previous experience in a managerial role within the fitness industry is highly desirable.
