Where children learn to dance without the pressure. Fun, small and engaging dance classes in a supportive environment, by experienced qualified teachers.

📍Karrinyup At Kelly’s Dance Academy it is our aim to inspire your child through dance, providing engaging classes to teach them new skills and enhance their overall development. Classes are taught in a nurturing and relaxed, yet professional, environment with no pressures. Children have the opportunity to perform throughout the year or simply come to dance. Classes for Bub & Mum, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical / Contemporary and Recreational Just Dance. Classes are currently held at Karrinyup, directly opposite the library with fantastic access to the shopping centre and Malaga within a beautiful Pilates studio. We also provide dance workshops / sessions to OSHC services for After School Care and during Vacation Care. Check out our website or contact Kelly today for more information.

13 years ago I opened the doors to Kelly’s Dance Academy in Karrinyup, with a little Ballet class of just 5 children. I could never have imagined the journey that would follow!

I’m beyond grateful for every child who has danced with us, all the amazing families I’ve met, and the teachers who have shared their passion and knowledge with the children. It hasn’t all been smooth sailing and I have learnt so much over the years, but I am so proud of the happy, safe and supportive dance community we’ve created 💗

Have you checked that your dancer’s shoes still fit?

It’s surprising how much little feet can grow over the school holidays, so please take a moment to check their dance shoes before class!

Need new shoes or a fitting? Visit Set the Stage at Carine Glades for help finding the right fit. We also have a secondhand box at class between parents.

Dance shoe requirements:
🩰 Pink leather ballet shoes – All Ballet classes
🖤 Black jazz shoes – Jazz & Just Dance classes
👞Tan tap shoes – Tap classes

Please remember: All dancers need the correct shoes for their classes, and Tap shoes are essential from their very first Tap class.

We can’t wait to see everyone back in classes today.

✨ 1 WEEK TO GO! ✨

Classes are back in just ONE WEEK for our final and very exciting term of the year!

This term, we’re heading on a Swan Lake journey 🦢Exploring the storyline, discovering the characters, listening to the wonderful music of Tchaikovsky and learning choreography that brings it all to life. 🎶✨

And for those dancers who choose to take part, we’ll be working towards our end-of-year concert on 12th December! 🤍

We can’t wait to see our dancers back in the studio and enrolments are open for new families to join for an exciting final term! 💫

It’s time to bring all of our foundational learning, technique and skills together, build on everything we’ve worked on throughout the year, and let their confidence shine as we learn choreography and take to the stage. 🎶🦢

We do have limited enrolments open for Term 4! Whether your child is a new dancer joining us for the first time or a returning dancer, we’d love to help you find a class that’s the right fit for their age, experience and interests. ❤️
