October Rally!
This will be our rescheduled Australian Stock Horse (ASH) training (for those who have experience) or have-a-go (for newbies) day!
ASH events suit all sorts of horses and riders. Events like the Kojonup Show and Breed Show host ASH Challenge classes each year and our local ASH Branch is only just down the road at Mt Barker. So there are opportunities close to home to compete in and practice these classes.
Instructors and cost TBC when we get them finalised but cost should be minimal. Please register your interest with Kelly Gorter .

Due to instructor availability, we have postponed our Stockhorse Training day scheduled for September and replaced it with a casual riding day. This means we will get an EXTRA rally in October 😁 Details to come on that one.

If riders would like anything set up in particular, please let us know (jumps, barrel race, games, pole work exercises, handy pony etc). A great opportunity to practice all the things we have learnt at previous rallys/ lessons and enjoy a ride with friends!

Also seeking EOI's in a horse gear car boot style markets to be held at lunchtime at this event. Please comment or PM the page if you have some gear you'd want to sell.

On Sunday the KEA had the pleasure of hosting Jo Worth for lessons in flatwork, poles & jumping 🐎
Our riders enjoyed a fabulous day of learning and fun! We had a variety of riders from newbies learning the ropes to more experienced dressage divas. As always, we accomodate ALL riders of all ages & abilities here at the KEA 🥰

Sun is shining 🌞 and grounds are looking fantastic 👌 as we get set up for our Jo Worth clinic tomorrow!
Looking forward to hosting the horses and riders that have booked classes and seeing the progress made across the day.

Positions are filling fast for the Jo Worth lessons on Sunday 14th of June!

Shared lessons, Showjump poles and showjump low height classes on offer.
Private lessons positions are full but we have started a waiting list so please message the page or email us if you would like a private lesson.

Entries STRICTLY close Tuesday 9th of June. Completed forms and proof of payment must be submitted by Tuesday night. Please see earlier posts or email us for entry forms.

Jo has a lifetime of experience in riding and instructing, having operated her own riding school for many years. She can coach English, western and stockhorse style of riding and is a kind and supportive instructor.

June winter rally with Jo Worth ❄️

We are very pleased to invite Jo Worth to our club for our June Winter Rally day. Jo is from here in the Great Southern and brings a wealth of experience in horse riding instruction. Jo has vast knowledge in teaching all levels and ages of riders from little tots to more mature older riders. She has a keen eye for detail and her lessons are always full of fun and learning!

Details:

Shared Flat lesson $45 for 1 hour (max of 3 riders per lesson)
• Shared Pole work lesson $45 for 1.25hrs (max of 4 riders per lesson)
• Shared jumping lesson $45 for 1.25hrs (max of 4 per lesson)
• Private Flat lesson $80 for 45 minutes (2 spots available)

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mums 💕
Today we had our Mother’s Day trail ride & luncheon at the Rae’s farm.
It was a glorious day - the weather was perfect, the horses well-behaved and the company was not too bad either!
We hope to enjoy more rides out with you all in the future, for now, we’ll see you all at our June rally 🤩
