Rob followed Marina Leon around for a few days in Squamish earlier in the year and received some excellent and unfiltered commentary on what folks expect from Australians when it comes to manufacturing alpine equipment. Happily, we exceeded expectations.

We have the results from our testing the other week with .richard featuring Ultra 200X, regular TPU, and Duralyte HH220. Have a look and see what Rob and Richard have to say about the testing process. Suffice to say the Aluula is impressive, even without considering it’s half the weight of the regular TPU. More to come!

Recently, we took some of the new materials alongside fabrics we have been using for some time to .richard for strength testing. We have some exciting projects in the works but before committing to any of them we need to understand the limitations of the materials we want to use.

Watch the guys break stuff and stay tuned for the results!

We recently got some new fabric in from to test and start making some prototypes from. We used some, uh, creative techniques to heat weld the seams and some equally innovative methods to test the fabric to destruction, but you’ll see more of that later. Stay tuned!
