Our juniors kicked off competition on Saturday with a cold start, but the sun came out in the end. We also welcomed a brand new team and they were buzzing with excitement and played so well in their first ever match. Well done team 🎾

Our Junior season has come to an end being delayed a week due to rain. Congrats to our C Special 1 team on Winning the Grand Final and to C Special 2 and D Special 1 on making the Grand Final.
Also Congrats to Sienna for the Presidents Award and Isabella the Coaching Award. Well deserved 🎾🏅

🎾🤞 Big things are happening at Keilor East Tennis Club!

Over the past few months we've been working hard to plan for the future of tennis in Keilor East.

✅ A proposal for additional courts has been submitted to Council ahead of next week's budget decision.

✅ We've secured support from Bendigo Bank towards the project.

✅ We've been working with Federal MP Jo Briskey and her team on an application to the Federal Government's Game On: Teaming Up for Climate Action grant to help fund a solar and battery system for the club.

With our courts already heavily utilised and several competition-capable courts at other local clubs having been lost in recent years, we're hopeful that Council can support at least one additional court to help meet the growing demand for tennis in our community.

Thanks to everyone who has supported the club's vision so far. We're excited about the future and look forward to continuing to work with our community and all levels of government to keep tennis thriving in Keilor East. 🎾☀️🔋

We’re currently exploring plans for a solar and battery project designed to help the club grow in a financially and environmentally sustainable way. This is one important piece of the puzzle as we continue working with Council and other stakeholders to plan for the club’s long-term growth and future facility needs.

With our courts heavily utilised across junior, senior, coaching and social tennis, we know the importance of planning for the future — both in terms of participation and sustainability.
