🚨 SPORTS CLUB UPDATE 🚨
Happy New Year from everyone associated with the Keilor Sports Club redevelopment and refurbishment. As an update the project is going along extremely well and we are very proud of the efforts so far. Even at this point it is exceeding most people’s expectations and we hope our end result will be the envy of every other sporting club in the region. Most importantly, we are also tracking nicely towards our target completion date and within budget, terrific work to the team led by our Project Manager Kevin O’Neill.
As you may be aware we have our project happening to raise funds for some of the internal fit-out via engraved bluestone pavers. These are selling really well, we have just reached 50 sales with many past and present players, members, supporters and partners signing up for their personal message to be etched into Keilor’s future history. This one-off opportunity will be closing soon, and we would love to reach our target of 100 engraved pavers along the front of the clubrooms. As such, please use the bank details below to deposit either $500 or $1000 (based on the size you prefer) to secure your spot alongside some of Keilor’s immortals.
All payment information is in the comments section.

The Keilor Sports Club is proud and excited to have secured funding to support the redevelopment of our existing club rooms which are the hub for our 1350 members across the Keilor Life Activities and broader community after they were built over 30 years ago.
While funds for the build have been secured, the KSC is excited to be leading a Community Fundraiser through which all funds will be directed towards internal audio and visual equipment, and furniture and fittings that are befitting of the newly developed facility which will commence in October.
As part of this Community Fundraiser we’ll be formally recognising all donations as detailed in our recognition flyer within this post, that includes providing individuals and families the opportunity to have their name attached to the facility for years to come.

The Club needs your support in trying to lobby Council for Funding for a much needed update on our Facility - as you can see from the attached we have now reached a deadlock with them, and are urgently seeking you strongest support by registering your objection on behalf of our 1400 participants and the broader Community by placing a comment on the Council "yoursay" portal on the Council's website.
Draft Annual Budget and Council Plan Action Plan 2023-2024 | Your Say Brimbank
If it is easier for you, simply "cut and paste" the text below into the 'provide feedback' section of the link.
"I wish to voice my disapproval at the recently released Brimbank Council Draft Budget . For the 7th consecutive year the Council has ignored the needs of the Keilor Sports Club and not provided funding for a refurbishment of the outdated facility which accommodates 1400 participants whose ages range from 5 to 100 . This decision was made despite the Club being able to contribute $1m to assist Council which includes $700K from the State Government. I would urge Council to reconsider."
Please also make every effort in support of our upgrade by signing the petition circulating around the Village and the Club.
Thanks for your support.
