The PEGS Football Club is affilated with the VAFA & WRFL. Formerly known as Old Essendon Grammarians (OEG) established in 1968, the new PEGS Football Club as ratified for the 2012 season for the first time ever. This exciting new chapter in the history of the club was a number of years in the making and the collaboration of PEGS and the old boys. In addition to this, the new PEGS Football Club established PEGS Juniors with the aim of running a strong junior program

The club has impressive facilities at 'The Runway'. The fully licensed Bar is open Thursday's through to Sunday's. Lunch is available at senior home games. We welcome all players to the club.

PEGS presentation night is here! Bring your partners, friends and loved ones along to enjoy a night of celebration to conclude the 2026 season.

Tickets are $150, and include an entry into the reverse raffle, with first prize sitting at $4,000 cash.

The PEGS Football Club would like to thank Senior Coach Rob Kerr for his significant contribution made to the club over the past two seasons. Rob notified the committee last week that he would be stepping away from the senior coach position in 2027, allowing him to tick off bucket list travel next year. While we are disappointed to see Rob stepping away from the Senior position, we respect his decision and are grateful for the impact he has had at the club over the past two seasons. We would also like to thank Rob’s wife Belinda for her support and understanding, as the role of a senior coach in community football takes a family effort. Although Rob will not be coaching in 2027, we are keen for Rob to still be involved at the club and we will work with Rob over the off-season to see what this looks like moving forward.

On behalf of everyone at the PEGS Football Club, thank you again Rob! We have all learnt from you and the club is a better place for having you as senior coach the past two seasons.

Line ups for today's matches against Ormond! Fair bit of movement in the senior team. Simmonds back from a European gallivant, McKernan returns from illness, Gahsimzadeh and Cooke have recovered from injury, D Flaherty is back from holiday, and Kerr is back after a run in with the tribunal. Reserves side looks strong with a few players back from seniors duty as well as some 19s topping up. Go PEGS!

Youngy makes it 150! PEGS is delighted to announce that tomorrow Jackson Young will play his 150th game. Jackson has shown an incredible dedication to the club over the years, not just with his hard-at-it on field performances, but with a mountain of work behind the scenes. Jackson has consistently been an organiser and driving force behind club apparel, Thursday night dinners and events. The whole Young family have been incredibly generous with their time, and serve as a pillar of the community that is PEGS Football Club. We can't wait to celebrate Jackson tomorrow, hopefully in style with a win over Ormond at the Runway. Well done Youngy!

A huge congratulations to the PEGS Juniors u14s team who won their elimination final on the weekend. PEGS 9.12.66 defeated Newport Power 7.11.53 at Established Park. Now the team is preparing for their Preliminary Final against Point Cook. The two teams have had some good battles over the course of the season, and will meet again at 12pm on Sunday at Established Park in Point Cook for the chance to progress to the Grand Final.
