A teacher at a school down the road told us most of her kids turn up with an empty lunch box.

Kids canā€™t learn hungry, so weā€™ve started the Lifeā€™s Peachy Foundation.

Next term weā€™ll be delivering fresh fruit and snacks to 100+ kids. To keep it going we need local businesses to back it.

Gym owner year 1 vs year 3šŸ˜

Year 1 youā€™re chasing members, discounting to get them in, buying more equipment and coaching every class because nobody else can yet. Year 3 youā€™ve worked out getting members was never the problem, keeping people was. And building a gym that doesnā€™t go backwards the week you get sick.

Iā€™ve owned gyms since 2017, inside a franchise and on my own. Iā€™ve said every line on the left. Still growing out of slide 7šŸ¤Ŗ

And weā€™re kicking it off with a special guest. Xavier, one of the 2025 Telethon Stars, is coming down for Star Workout #1.

A few weeks ago, one of our members, Wayne, told me he was painting something for the gymā€¦

Heā€™s created an artwork for Lifeā€™s Peachy Fit thatā€™s all about community and connection. It has our colours and the LPFIT logo, and 24 meeting places, one for every hour of the 24-hour workout weā€™re doing for Telethon on the 10th October

Then he showed me the blue. Wayne is from a river clan, so a river runs right through the painting.

Thatā€™s the part that got me. This gym is named after my mate Cory Peach, and some of my best days with him were out on the river & lakes wakeboarding. I didnā€™t expect a painting to bring goosebumps and an instant rush of emotion..

Wayno, thank you. Youā€™ve given this place something itā€™ll keep forever. Itā€™ll hang where every member sees it when they walk in.
