Uniform and Registration Pack Collection – We have added a time for uniform and pack collection tomororow.

📅 Saturday, 3rd October

📍 KLA clubhouse, Kenmore State High School

Entry is via Dumbarton Drive. The gate will be open, so please drive through to the clubhouse.

Uniforms can be purchased at the shed on Saturday or ordered through our online store:

New families: Please bring proof-of-age documents. Alternatively, you can email them to the club.
Trialist families: There is nothing you need to do at this stage. You do not need to attend the collection day or purchase a uniform before your trial.

🏃‍♀️ GET READY FOR THE NEW ATHLETICS SEASON! 🏃‍♂️
Looking for a fun way to keep the kids active during the school holidays and help them warm up before the Kenmore Little Athletics season begins?

Toowong Harriers Little Athletics is hosting a Brisbane Development Clinic at Jack Cook Park, delivered by Little Athletics Queensland. Taking place just one week before our season starts, it’s a great opportunity for young athletes to refresh their skills, build confidence and get excited for the weeks ahead! 🙌

Athletes will take part in:
💨 Sprints
🦘 Jumps
🥏 Throws
🤝 Relays

Tiny Tots is available for children born in 2022 or 2023. Under 6 to Under 17 registrations are available for athletes born from
2010 to 2021.

Not sure whether Little Athletics is right for your child? New athletes are welcome to join us for a free two-week trial before committing to the full season.
Trial athletes must be registered through the online registration portal before attending. No separate trial form is required.

KLA accepts Play On! Sports Vouchers.
Enter your voucher number during online registration and its value will be applied as part of the registration process.

📣 Kenmore Little Athletics Needs Your Help!
As we prepare for the upcoming Little Athletics season, we're calling on parents and carers to help keep Kenmore Little Athletics running for our local children and families.

Committee Formation Meeting
📅 Thursday 11 June
🕖 7:00pm – 8:30pm
📍 Kenmore Library, Kenmore Village, 9 Brookfield Road, Kenmore

Like many community sporting clubs, Kenmore Little Athletics is run entirely by volunteers. Next season, all Executive Committee positions will be vacant, and we urgently need new volunteers to step forward.
Key positions that must be filled include:
• Centre Manager
• Secretary
• Treasurer

There are also many other committee roles available, with varying levels of responsibility and time commitment.
At the meeting, we'll:
✔ Explain how the club operates
✔ Outline committee roles and responsibilities
✔ Discuss time commitments
✔ Answer questions
✔ Elect next season's committee

There is absolutely no obligation to take on a role by attending. If you're curious about how the club works or want to learn more before deciding, we'd love to see you there.

Kenmore Little Athletics has been a valued part of our community for many years, helping children stay active, build confidence, and make lasting friendships. However, without a new committee, the club will not be able to operate next season.

Many roles can be shared, and current committee members will be available to support and guide new volunteers during the transition.

Please consider coming along and helping ensure Little Athletics remains available for local families.

To wrap up the season, we’re excited to invite all families to our Kenmore Little Athletics End of Season Presentation Day 🎉
📅 Date: Sunday, 29th March
🕐 Time: Starting at 1:00 PM
📍 Location: Rocks Riverside Park (Entrance Area)
📍 Address: 39 Counihan Road, Seventeen Mile Rocks

Join us for an afternoon of celebration as we recognise the achievements of all our athletes.
The event will follow a similar format to previous years, with a presentation ceremony followed by a sausage sizzle, plus rides and activities for the children throughout the afternoon.
All families are welcome — bring along a picnic rug and enjoy the day.
We hope this date is free in your calendar and that you can join us for a fun afternoon.

🏃‍♂️ KLA Meet 13 – Final Meet of the Season! 🏃‍♀️
We’re looking forward to seeing everyone at the track this Saturday 14 March for Meet 13 – our final meet for the season! We would love to see as many families there as possible for one last afternoon of athletics. 💙

Pre-Meet Coaching (2:15 PM)
• Long Jump (U6–U10) – Coach Arthur & Coach Cayden
• Block Starts (U11+) – Coach Aaron
• Javelin (U11+) – Coach Alyssa
Warm Up
• 3:00 PM – All athletes

• U6 & U7 Girls have been combined for this meet
• U11 Boys & Girls have been merged
• U12 Boys & Girls have also been merged

🎉 Special End-of-Season Fun
For the younger age groups we will be running a Parents vs Athletes relay, so parents are encouraged to jump in and join the fun!

🍦 Free Ice Cream / Ice Block
To celebrate the end of the season, every athlete can grab a free ice cream or ice block from the canteen after finishing their final event.

🏅 Good luck to our State Championship athletes!
There will be no meet next week as the McDonald’s State Championships are being held. Best of luck to all our athletes competing!
